Treatment of periostitis

Treatment of periostitis

People who like sports may easily encounter such a situation, that is, periostitis, joint pain, muscle soreness, etc. due to excessive exercise. Generally speaking, people with milder symptoms will only experience local soreness after training, but if we continue to exercise without treatment, the soreness will turn into severe pain. People with more severe symptoms will feel obvious pain even when sitting or lying down.

From the above, it is not difficult to see that periostitis in daily life is generally caused by excessive exercise. Therefore, we should exercise in moderation and never think that we can complete several days' worth of exercise in one day. When we suffer from periostitis, we should do it.

1. Overcome fear. Periostitis is a common disease that can be cured with minimal treatment.

2. Acupoint massage. Sit down and perform the exercise alternately with your legs from bottom to top and from light to heavy. 20 minutes a day. Select acupoints such as Chengshan, Kunlun, Zusanli, Yanglingquan, and Taixi. The focus is on kneading, pressing and acupressure on the Chengshan, Yanglingquan and Zusanli points on the calf. Use warm water bath combined with massage treatment. For those with severe pain, raise the affected limb when resting to relieve symptoms.

3. Do sufficient warm-up exercises before training. Improve the body's stress state, make the body warm, reduce muscle stickiness, overcome inertia, and focus on kneading the easily injured tibia and fibula of the calf.

4. Master various exercise postures and do relaxation activities. Reduce activities on hard surfaces with poor elasticity; strengthen self-protection in cushioning movements and do a good job of relaxation after class, increase nutrition after exercise, and drink more water.

5. Wear shoes with good elasticity to reduce the vibration caused by falling due to body gravity.

6. In the early stage of inflammation, you should adjust the amount of exercise, reduce the local load exercise time, reduce the intensity of exercise, avoid sudden increase in exercise, and avoid long-term and excessive concentration of running, jumping, back kicking, and supporting exercises.

The above is the treatment method for periostitis. From it we can see that we also need to pay attention to the method of exercise. We must do warm-up exercises before exercise, which is conducive to protecting our body from injury, and we should not do physical exercises when we are unwell.
