Technique: Use the index and middle fingers of one hand to press hard on the Dazhui point. Efficacy: Dazhui point can help prevent colds, especially for fever or persistent high fever caused by colds. Location of Yongquan Point: Yongquan Point is located on the sole of the human foot, in the depression at the front of the sole. Flex your toes firmly and create the depression at the front of your foot. Technique: Press the Yongquan point with the tip of your thumb. The strength should be enough to feel a slight soreness and swelling. Effect: It can help dissipate heat and anger, and relieve symptoms such as physical fatigue, nasal congestion, and dry mouth caused by colds. Location of Shixuan acupoint: Shixuan acupoint is located at the tips of the ten fingers, 0.1 inch (finger inch) away from the free edge of the nail. There are ten acupoints on the left and right. Location of Quchi point: located in the depression at the end of the elbow transverse line. Technique: Press or tap with your fingertips for 1 to 3 minutes, with no limit on the number of times. Efficacy: Quchi point is the He point of the Hand Yangming Large Intestine Meridian. It mainly has the effects of dispersing wind and relieving itching, clearing away heat and reducing swelling, and dredging meridians. Massaging the Quchi point can treat shoulder and elbow pain, upper limb paralysis, hypertension, urticaria, influenza, tonsillitis, goiter, acute gastroenteritis, etc. Location of Fengchi Point: Fengchi Point is located at the back of the neck, in the depression on the outer edge of the two large tendons under the back of the skull parallel to the earlobe. Technique: Open your hands, place the tips of your thumbs on the Fengchi point, and place the rest of your fingers close to the back of the pillow. Press and rub the Fengchi point vigorously until you feel a noticeable soreness and swelling in the point. Efficacy: Fengchi point can help dispel wind. The so-called cold is also called "cold". Massaging Fengchi point is very beneficial for colds. The location of Yingxiang point is at the midpoint of the outer edge of the nose, where the shallow groove naturally forms between the nose and the outer side of the lips when smiling. Technique: Press the Yingxiang point with the tip of your index finger for about 2 minutes, with enough pressure to cause a slight soreness and swelling. Efficacy: It can help clear away heat and disperse wind, especially it has a good effect on relieving nasal congestion caused by colds.
