Respiratory system symptoms: Breathing is deep and long when acidosis occurs. Retention of metabolites can cause uremic bronchitis, pneumonia, pleurisy, and corresponding clinical symptoms and signs. 6. Skin manifestations: The skin loses its luster, becomes dry and flaky. 7.
