How to treat ear eczema in children

Eczema is the most common disease among infants. It is mainly caused by the infant's weak resistance and the fact that you do not pay attention to the infant's hygiene. Therefore, when we find that a child has eczema in the ears, we should take the child to see a doctor in time, so that we can better treat the baby's ear eczema. For cases of baby ear eczema, we should use the correct medication, avoid eating seafood, and prevent scratching the wound with our hands.

Hello, childhood eczema is an allergic skin disease, which is commonly known as an allergic skin disease. The main cause is intolerance or allergy to ingested, inhaled or contacted substances. Children with eczema initially have red skin and a rash, followed by rough skin and flaking. Touching the child's skin feels like touching sandpaper. Heat and moisture can cause significant symptoms of eczema. Pay attention to adjusting your diet, avoid spicy and stimulating food, avoid eating items that are easily allergenic, such as alcohol, seafood and shellfish should be banned, and a light diet is better; try to reduce adverse external stimuli, such as scratching with hands, external soap, hot water washing, etc.; clothing should be loose, light and soft, and avoid wearing wool products or nylon fabrics. Try to avoid using large doses of topical corticosteroids for a long time or in a short period of time.

It is recommended that you apply erythromycin ointment to the ulcerated skin behind the ears of your child to prevent infection and suppuration. For eczema in the perineum, the skin should be cleaned daily and then applied with talcum powder. Be sure to wipe the skin clean with a disinfectant wipe and then apply talcum powder after each bowel movement or urination. I don't know how old my child is and whether he is still using diapers. If he is, it is very likely that the diapers are causing the perineal eczema, because diapers are not breathable, and if they are not changed in time, the urea irritating the skin can also cause eczema. So you'd better change diapers for your child, and make sure to boil the diapers in boiling water for disinfection when using them for the first time, and wash them after each use and dry them in the sun. Don't use laundry detergent to wash diapers, use soap to reduce irritation to your child's skin. When a child has eczema, pay attention to the hygiene of the child's skin. It should be dry and the child should not eat too much, wear too warm clothes, and temporarily avoid eating fish and shrimp.

First, avoid feeding too much food to maintain normal digestion. If you suspect milk allergy, you can boil it for a longer time to denature the protein, which can reduce allergens. If necessary, you can use goat milk or soy milk (see the nutrition section) instead of milk. If you suspect protein allergy, give only egg yolk, or start with a small amount of egg white and gradually increase the amount. Breastfeeding mothers can stop eating eggs.

External medication: ① 3g of Indigo powder, 9g of Phellodendron powder, mix and sprinkle externally, or mix with sesame oil and apply externally, 1 to 2 times a day; or ② 3g of light powder, 9g of pine pollen, 9g of Phellodendron powder, 3g of Indigo powder, mix with sesame oil and apply externally, 1 to 2 times a day; or ③ Atractylodes powder and Phellodendron powder in equal amounts, mix with vegetable oil and apply externally, 1 to 2 times a day.

Life care:

When eczema seeps and forms scabs, avoid washing with soap or hot water, as overheating will irritate the eczema and increase itching. Also, prevent sweating and do not let your child wear too many clothes. Many mothers worry that using hormone drugs on their children will cause local skin pigmentation or weaken the skin's resistance. When eczema is severe, hormone drugs must be used. It is important to master the dosage and time of use, and must be used under the guidance of a doctor.
