How to treat peeling hands

Some people often have to come into contact with chemicals due to the nature of their work, and after years of accumulation, their hands will experience peeling. But some people's hands are too dry in winter and cause peeling. In fact, there are many reasons that cause peeling hands, and some people suffer from peeling hands due to illness. So the reasons will be different for different people. Some people develop small blisters on their hands. When the blisters burst, water will flow out and then peeling will occur. This may be a fungal infection, the common tinea pedis, which needs to be treated properly.

For those who suffer from seasonal peeling, they should pay attention to moisturizing and protecting their hands. Because the air in winter is very dry, and the cold wind will take away the moisture on the skin, making your hands cold and dry. Next, let’s take a look at the relevant treatment and prevention methods.

Prevention: Palm peeling is seasonal and tends to heal on its own, generally without the need for special treatment. For patients with more serious or recurrent symptoms, Western medicine often uses sedatives, antihistamines and anticholine drugs for treatment.

1. During the blister stage, the main treatment should be astringent and antipruritic. You can apply the Chinese medicine Fu Kang Jie Ointment externally, or you can soak in 10% alum solution.

2. Use medication to protect the newly grown epidermis except during the peeling stage. You can apply Fu Kang Jie ointment externally.

3. For patients with dry skin, thickened keratin and small cracks, they can apply the moisturizing and crack-preventing "Fukangmei Ointment" externally. In addition, be careful not to tear off the stratum corneum that has not been completely peeled off, so as not to cause pain or bleeding.

4. For more serious or recurrent cases, you can take Liuwei Dihuang Pills or Liuwei Dihuang Decoction with modifications: 20 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 15 grams of Chinese yam, 10 grams of Cornus officinalis, 10 grams of Moutan bark, 10 grams of Alisma orientalis, 15 grams of Poria, 15 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata, and 30 grams of Tribulus terrestris. Add water and boil the above ingredients for consumption. Generally, 3-5 doses are enough to see results.

5. Apply vitamin C injection to the affected area twice a day, for a course of 3 days. It has a good effect on the recovery of skin lesions. Method: Wash your hands first, wait until they are slightly dry, pour vitamin C injection solution into your palms, then rub the solution evenly with both palms, and wash it off when the solution dries and turns white. Take 2 times a day, 2 ml each time. Efficacy: There are reports of using vitamin C to treat patients with peeling hands. For mild cases, the effect is obvious after one time, and for severe cases, the effect is obvious after three times, and the skin can be cured within a few days.

6. Patients should also maintain an optimistic mood, avoid mental stress and emotional excitement, and try to avoid contact with alkaline detergents. Can prevent the occurrence of this disease.

7. Chop the ginger into pieces and soak it in white wine for 24 hours. Then apply it to the affected area 1-2 times a day. The effect is very significant.

8. Add appropriate amount of brown and white sugar to fresh leek juice, take it once a day, and take it for 4 times in a row for effective results.

The above introduces many simple and practical methods. If your palms are peeling, you can also try the above methods. If you find that your palms are peeling due to some disease, then you must go to a regular hospital for relevant examinations and treatments. Don't avoid seeing a doctor because you're afraid; this will only cause more long-term damage to your body.
