Lump on the neck

Lump on the neck

Many people do not pay much attention to their own bodies. Sometimes the diseases in the body have already sent out warning messages, but because the patients do not pay attention, they miss the best time for treatment, which makes the disease very difficult to treat in the later stages. For example, the human neck plays a very important role in the human body. Once there is a problem with the neck, it will bring many problems.

One of the more common problems on the neck is the appearance of a lump. Some people don't think it's a big deal when they first find the lump, and think that the lump will go away on its own. However, often the lump not only does not go away on its own, but instead gets bigger and bigger.

If the swollen lymph nodes are not very hard and are accompanied by a low fever, it is likely that there is inflammation (infection) nearby, such as pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis or upper respiratory tract infection. Generally, there are lumps in the neck lymph nodes caused by getting angry, or inflammation such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis. After the inflammation is eliminated, the swelling in the neck will disappear. This situation is not a problem. If the swollen lymph nodes are hard, other lesions should be considered. In short, this question cannot be explained in detail here. It is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and diagnosis.

When people find a lump on their neck that doesn't hurt or itch, they often don't take it seriously. Only when the lump has some accompanying symptoms, such as pain, redness, swelling, itching, or even affects daily life, will you feel that you should go to the hospital for a check-up. However, this kind of "painless and non-itchy pimple" should arouse our vigilance. Painless lumps are more likely to be tumors. This painless mass is characterized by rapid growth, hard texture, uneven surface, nodularity, poor mobility, unclear boundaries, and no tenderness.

Do not ignore a lump on your neck. Early detection is the best time to treat it, so the patient should go to a regular hospital for medical treatment at this time to achieve the best treatment effect. In daily life, everyone must pay close attention to their physical condition and seek medical attention in time if there is anything unusual.
