Liver function test is an important clinical test for patients with liver disease. There are many liver function test items, and the test results can reflect the condition of the liver from different levels. So what should we pay attention to when liver function is abnormal?

1. Do not take medicine randomly

Because many drugs need to be metabolized by the liver, and many drugs are harmful to the liver, they can cause drug-induced damage to the liver and aggravate liver damage.

2. Regular inspection

Liver function should be checked every half a month or one month to keep abreast of changes in the condition and provide a basis for the doctor's treatment.

3. Exercise moderately

Engaging in seasonal outdoor activities in the spring, such as walking, outing, playing ball, and practicing Tai Chi, can not only keep the body's qi and blood flowing smoothly, promote the excretion of the old and the intake of the new, and strengthen the body, but also soothe the mood and nourish the liver, thereby achieving the purpose of liver protection and health care.

4. Loose clothing

Wear loose clothes and let your hair down so that your body can stretch and your qi and blood will not stagnate. If the liver qi and blood flow smoothly, the body will be strong.

5. Drink plenty of water

Drinking more water can replenish body fluids, enhance blood circulation, and promote metabolism. Drinking more water is also beneficial for digestion and absorption, and waste elimination, reducing the damage of metabolic products and toxins to the liver. Make sure you drink 8-10 glasses of water every day so you can have a healthy and strong body.

6. Drink less or no alcoholic beverages such as liquor and beer

Drinking a small amount of alcohol is beneficial to promoting menstruation, activating blood circulation, removing blood stasis and promoting the rise of liver yang energy. But don't drink too much, because the liver's ability to metabolize alcohol is limited, and drinking too much will damage the liver.

7. Balanced diet:

The protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, minerals, etc. in food should be kept in corresponding proportions; at the same time, the five flavors should be kept balanced; try to eat less spicy food and more fresh vegetables and fruits; do not overeat or have uneven hunger and fullness.

8. Feeling good

Because the liver likes to be relaxed and hates stagnation, anger can easily lead to stagnation of qi and blood in the liver and cause illness. First of all, we must learn to control our anger, and try our best to be calm, optimistic and cheerful, so that the liver fire can be extinguished and the liver qi can be generated normally and smoothly.

9. Get enough rest

People with abnormal liver function should not engage in excessively intense and strenuous exercise or labor, otherwise it will increase the burden on the liver and be detrimental to the condition.
