How to drain edema and obesity

Edema and obesity are quite common in life. People with this condition usually do less exercise and like to eat greasy food. Their bodies are too damp, which is quite harmful to the body. They should pay more attention to nutrition and eat more foods that can help diuresis and reduce swelling. The most common ones are fresh fruits and vegetables. In addition, foods that strengthen the spleen and replenish qi are also very effective. The more common ones are yam, lotus seeds, fungus, etc.

1. Eat more foods that can help relieve swelling and promote diuresis

For example, bananas, potatoes, carrots, avocados, oranges, etc. Mung beans, red beans, coix seeds, white radish, seaweed, bitter melon, cucumber, loofah, winter melon, carp, and perch are also beneficial to the metabolism of water.

2. Choose more foods that "strengthen the spleen and replenish qi"

High-quality protein nutritious foods such as yam, red dates, lotus seeds, fungus, lentils, beans, eggs, milk, fish, etc. can replenish physical strength and eliminate fatigue and burnout.

5. Drink at least 8 glasses of water every day

Ensuring that the body is adequately hydrated helps drain away water and reduce swelling. In addition, you should supplement more calcium until the edema disappears.

Exercise can widen blood vessels so that water entering the kidneys can be better excreted. If you want to eliminate edema through exercise, it is recommended that you start with the most perspiration-producing aerobic exercise, and do brisk walking or jogging for half an hour every two days. This will achieve the effect of widening blood vessels and expelling water.

In addition, if you spend most of your day sitting in the office and rarely exercise, it is recommended that you lie flat on the bed every night before going to bed, put your legs on the wall, make your legs and body at a 90-degree angle, and persist for 20-30 minutes. This will help relieve lower body edema caused by poor blood circulation and is very effective for slimming your calves.
