What is fasciitis?

What are the symptoms of fasciitis?

1. Local muscle pain

2. Ischemic pain

Local cold, general fatigue, or cold weather can induce pain, which can cause you to wake up in pain during late night sleep and feel stiff and painful in the morning.

3. Fixed tenderness point

During physical examination, the patient was found to have muscle tension, spasm, bulge, contracture or stiffness on one side or in some areas.

What are the causes of fasciitis?

Chronic strain, humid and cold climate, chronic infection, depression, sleep disorders, hypothyroidism and hyperuricemia are all common inducing factors.

How to treat fasciitis?

1. Physical therapy

Massage and thermal therapy (hot bath, infrared, ultrashort wave, microwave, etc.) are the basic treatments for myofasciitis and can effectively relieve pain.

2. Drug treatment

Anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-edema and antispasmodic drugs can quickly relieve symptoms and improve quality of life, especially for patients in the acute phase.

How to prevent fasciitis?

1. Prevent dampness, cold and chill. If your mom asks you to wear long johns, just put them on obediently!

2. Avoid overexertion and pay attention to the combination of work and rest.

3. Do warm-up exercises before engaging in sports or strenuous activities.
