Do contact lens cleaners work?

The care of contact lenses cannot be separated from the care solution. In life, many people who wear contact lenses sometimes operate them improperly or do not cut their nails for a long time, causing the lenses to be damaged. If the fingers are not cleaned thoroughly during the cleaning process, bacteria or impurities will be placed on the lenses. In this case, some people think of using a contact lens cleaner to clean them. So, does a contact lens cleaner really work?

The automatic contact lens cleaner uses ultra-micro vibrations to cause the care solution to oscillate, generating an inward vortex of water flow to remove protein deposits attached to the lenses, dust in the air, etc. It makes cleaning contact lenses easier and effectively avoids lens damage caused by negligent care. However, it is true that automatic contact lens cleaners are not as clean as hand washes. Consumers can rub the lenses with their fingertips for a few times before putting them in the automatic cleaner to clean them. This will avoid contamination and the lenses will be cleaned more thoroughly.

Surveys show that many eye disease patients suffer from improper cleaning of contact lenses. Everyone must master the correct method of cleaning contact lenses and thoroughly clean them. Contact lenses need to be soaked and stored after cleaning to achieve proper maintenance. Another point to emphasize is the use of automatic contact lens cleaner:

1. First remove the double-link box and pour in an appropriate amount of care solution, then put the contact lenses into the double-link box and screw on the double-link box cover. 2. Install a 1.5V7# battery at the bottom and cover the battery cover. To extend the battery life, it is best to remove the battery when not in use. 3. Place the double box into the groove of the cleaning machine, lock it tightly, and cover it with a transparent cover.

4. Press the switch and the machine starts working. At the same time, a "hissing..." sound will be heard, indicating that it is working normally. 5. After about 3-5 minutes, press the switch again and the vibration will stop, indicating that the power supply has been cut off and the work has stopped, indicating that the contact lenses have been cleaned. 6. The cleaned contact lenses must be taken out of the cleaner, pour out the used contact lens care solution, and then rinse with clean care solution. Both the lenses and the cleaner should be rinsed with new care solution, and then the cleaned lenses should be stored in the contact lens companion box.
