The prescription used is Yiqi Yangxue Decoction: 30 grams of Codonopsis pilosula, 15 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 15 grams of Poria cocos, 30 grams of Astragalus membranaceus, 15 grams of Angelica sinensis, 20 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 12 grams of Chuanxiong, 12 grams of Red Peony Root, 12 grams of Cassia Twig, 12 grams of Curcuma longa, 30 grams of Millettia reticulata, 15 grams of Polygonatum sibiricum, 12 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata, 3 grams of Asarum, and 6 grams of Licorice. Take one dose per day, decocted in water. Take Huanshao Pills and Tongluo Pills orally.

Phlegm-dampness blocking the collaterals

Symptoms include heaviness in the head and body, coughing up yellow-white sputum, poor appetite, chest fullness, greasy tongue coating, and slippery pulse. The treatment is to eliminate dampness and phlegm, strengthen the spleen and unclog the meridians. The prescription used is Huatan Decoction: 12 grams of Arisaema consanguineum, 12 grams of White Aconitum, 12 grams of Gardenia jasminoides, 12 grams of Pinellia ternata, 12 grams of Tangerine Peel, 20 grams of Trichosanthes, 12 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 15 grams of Poria, 12 grams of Alisma orientalis, 20 grams of Millettia reticulata, 30 grams of Salvia miltiorrhiza, 12 grams of Safflower, 10 grams of Bombyx batryticatus, 10 grams of Scorpio, 15 grams of Pheretima, and 6 grams of Licorice. Take one dose per day, decocted in water. Take snake gall pills and tangerine peel pills orally.

Liver wind movement

Symptoms include flushed face, dizziness, irritability, dry and bitter mouth, constipation, red urine, red tongue with yellow coating, and rapid and stringy pulse. The treatment should be to calm the liver and stop wind, nourish yin and clear heat. The prescription used is Tianma Uncaria Decoction: 12 grams of Gastrodia elata, 30 grams of Uncaria rhynchophylla, 15 grams of Prunella vulgaris, 12 grams of Dancao, 12 grams of Scutellaria baicalensis, 30 grams of magnetite, 20 grams of real estate, 30 grams of mother of pearl, 12 grams of Sophora flavescens, 30 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 12 grams of Moutan bark, 10 grams of scorpion, 12 grams of earthworm, 12 grams of leech, 5 grams of amber, 12 grams of cicada shell, and 6 grams of licorice. Take one dose per day, decocted in water. Take Tongmai Pills and Tianma Pills orally.

External treatment

Qianzheng Paste contains 30 grams of white aconite, 30 grams of saposhnikovia divaricata, 20 grams of bombyx batryticatus, 10 grams of asarum, 20 grams of whole scorpion and 20 grams of white mustard seed. Grind them into fine powder. Use 3 grams each time. Mix it with vinegar and spread it on a small round cloth. Apply it to the Xiaguan acupoint on the affected side. Fix it with adhesive tape. Apply it for 3 days each time. Generally, it will be effective after 3 applications.

Tooth Soap Powder: Grind 200 grams of pig tooth soap into fine powder, take appropriate amount and mix it with aged vinegar to make a paste, apply it between the cheek car and dicang points on the affected side, change the dressing twice a day, 10 days as a course of treatment.

Take equal parts of alum, Chuanwu and magnolia, grind them into powder, add a little musk, wrap it in gauze as big as a date pit, and plug it into the right nostril for the left one and the left nostril for the right one. Remove it after 2 hours, 3 to 4 times a day.
