What are the strong painkillers?

Painkillers are relatively common drugs in daily life and have a good effect in relieving pain. According to the different efficacy of painkillers, they are divided into general painkillers and strong painkillers, mainly non-autologous anti-inflammatory drugs and narcotic analgesics. Different painkillers are used for different conditions. For example, if the pain is very severe due to diseases such as tumors, in order to relieve the patient's condition, some strong painkillers may be given, such as morphine, pethidine, etc.

1. Acetaminophen

Indications: Suitable for headache, joint pain and neuralgia, cancer pain and postoperative analgesia. This product is particularly suitable for patients who are allergic to or intolerant of aspirin.

Dosage and Administration: Oral administration: 0.3-0.6 g at a time, 3-4 times a day as needed. The daily dose should not exceed 2 g, the course of treatment should not exceed 10 days, and it should not be taken for a long time. In case of overdose, the antagonist N-acetylcysteine can be given, which can achieve satisfactory therapeutic effects within 12 hours, and can also be removed by hemodialysis.

2. Ibuprofen

Indications: Used to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, migraine, toothache, dysmenorrhea, joint pain, neuralgia and muscle pain.

3. Morphine

Indications: Morphine is a powerful analgesic, suitable for acute severe pain that is not effective with other analgesics, such as pain from severe trauma, burns, postoperative pain, and advanced cancer pain. Its obvious sedative effect can eliminate emotional reactions such as anxiety, tension, fear, etc. caused by pain, significantly improve tolerance to pain, and make it easier to tolerate pain. Morphine is a representative drug for treating severe cancer pain.

4. Oxycodone

The pharmacological effects of oxycodone are similar to those of morphine, and its analgesic effect is equal to or higher than that of morphine, with no ceiling effect on the analgesic effect. It is currently believed that oxycodone used alone is an effective alternative to strong opioids.

5. Meperidine

That is, pethidine, which has an analgesic effect of 1/10 of morphine, a shorter duration of action than morphine, poor reliability of oral administration, and is only used in injectable form clinically.

6. Bucinazine

Also known as phentermine, its analgesic effect is 1/3 of morphine, but stronger than non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It has a significant inhibitory effect on pain in the skin, mucous membranes and motor organs, but has a poor analgesic effect on pain in internal organs. It is less addictive than morphine but has higher tolerance. my country has included it in the list of narcotic drugs.

7. Tramadol

Tramadol is a non-opioid central analgesic with an efficacy of 1/10 to 1/8 that of morphine and generally does not cause drug tolerance or dependence.
