Where should I use moxibustion for Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire?

Getting angry is a symptom of the human body in traditional Chinese medicine, but once it happens, it is a short-term condition and will disappear after a period of time even without the need for medication. However, this condition of getting angry has a great impact on your life. In severe cases, it may cause blisters and other symptoms, which are very painful. This situation is what is called Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire in medicine. So where should moxibustion be applied for Yin deficiency and hyperactivity of fire?

Moxibustion therapy:

Zhongwan acupoint, navel, Sanyinjiao acupoint, Yongquan acupoint, Taixi acupoint, Taichong acupoint

Moxibustion at Yongquan acupoint can nourish yin and reduce fire, calm the mind and soothe the nerves, have the effect of guiding fire back to the origin, and can also replenish kidney essence; moxibustion at Sanyinjiao can strengthen the spleen and stomach, eliminate dampness, soothe the liver and benefit the kidneys, and regulate menstrual blood. "Inner Canon": "Sanyinjiao and Taixi replenish the body's primordial yin. If water is abundant, the pot will not boil. Therefore, the classics say: Strengthen the master of water to treat the sun."

After persisting in moxibustion on the above acupoints for a period of time, your mouth will be filled with saliva!

It is best to soak your feet in mugwort at night for the three acupoints: Yongquan, Taixi and Taichong. After soaking your feet, massage the three acupoints. This is very helpful for nourishing yin and kidney and promoting sleep.

If you have Yin deficiency, you can try it slowly first. If you feel you can adapt, you can gradually extend the time and heat of moxibustion. At the beginning, do not apply too many acupoints or too high a temperature. If you feel OK, gradually add acupoints or extend the moxibustion time.

A few key points to remember:

1. Don’t do moxibustion too late. Try to do it during the day. The best time for moxibustion is in the morning.

Second, the moxibustion time should not be too long, 15 minutes for each acupoint is enough. If there are many acupoints, moxibustion 2-3 acupoints a day, and complete them in turn.

3. Drink more lotus seed and lily soup, lotus root, honey and other yin-nourishing foods.
