How to get rid of pustules on the face

Most of the pustules on the face are acne. Acne is an inflammation of the hair follicles and skin. It is mostly chronic. There will often be some blackheads or small pointed heads with some white pus inside. It is not contagious, but it is very uncomfortable and will affect the appearance. You need to pay attention to cleaning at ordinary times, and clean it in time after scratching when necessary.

Acne is a chronic inflammatory disease of the sebaceous follicles.

It mainly occurs on the face, chest and back, and manifests as blackheads, inflammatory papules, secondary pustules or nodules, cysts, etc. Chinese medicine calls it "lung wind acne" or "facial pimples". They are mostly caused by exogenous wind-cold, wind-heat and rheumatism that accumulate in the local area of the face. The accumulation over time turns into fire, causing meridian blockage, phlegm coagulation and blood stasis, and forming acne. If the disease persists for a long time and becomes purulent, it will cause acne. If the disease spreads to the meridians for a long time and forms lumps, or if the facial skin is damaged for too long, it will form nodules and scars. In addition, the patient's body has excessive yang and heat, and excessive consumption of spicy and greasy food causes damp heat to accumulate in the gastrointestinal tract. The damp heat in the gastrointestinal tract cannot go downward, but instead goes upward, steaming in the lungs and accumulating in the face. Long-term illness causes phlegm, and fatigue and blood stasis form in the skin.

There are more than a dozen therapies for treating acne, but so far none is particularly effective. This is mainly because the pathogenesis of acne is complex and there are large individual differences. Different patients require different targeted therapies. Generally speaking, since acne has obvious self-healing properties, many doctors believe that mild acne is a physiological phenomenon and does not require treatment. Therefore, for mild acne that does not affect the appearance, you only need to pay attention to your daily diet care; for moderate to severe acne, timely treatment is required. As long as the method is appropriate and both internal and external treatments are taken, good results can be achieved. Traditional Chinese medicine has long discussed acne. The treatment plan also varies according to individual symptoms and skin lesions, so the effect is often significant. Acne can be divided into four types through observation, smell, questioning and palpation:

1. Heat accumulation in the lung meridian
