What are the symptoms of STDs?

When it comes to sexually transmitted diseases, many people are afraid, of course this only applies to adults. Many people often get sexually transmitted diseases because they do not pay attention to personal hygiene or sexual hygiene protection in their daily lives. However, many people don't really know much about the symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases. In fact, the occurrence of sexually transmitted diseases is not necessarily caused by promiscuous sex. There are many other causes of sexually transmitted diseases.

Sexually transmitted diseases are simply a nightmare for many people. This is mainly because these people have more or less had sexually transmitted diseases. Sexually transmitted diseases have brought great inconvenience to our lives and have had a significant impact on the reputation of many friends. But no matter what, if you get a sexually transmitted disease, you will know about it. What are the symptoms of STDs?

STDs usually directly damage the reproductive organs. The most common manifestations of gonorrhea and non-gonococcal urethritis are inflammation of the urogenital system, causing pain and burning sensation in the urethra when urinating. There is either thin or thick purulent discharge from the urethra. When gonorrhea causes inflammation of the female reproductive system, there will be purulent leucorrhea, back pain, and lower abdominal pain. Genital warts can cause cauliflower-like tumors of varying sizes to grow in the external genitalia. These tumors bleed easily and have foul-smelling purulent secretions on the surface. In severe cases, the female external genitalia may sometimes be covered with more cauliflower-like tumors, which may even make urination and defecation difficult, causing great pain to the patient. Genital herpes causes small blisters in the external genital area, which break and produce shallow ulcers with a small amount of secretions and very severe pain. Syphilis, chancroid, lymphogranuloma venereum, etc. also have lesions in the genital area.

In addition to damaging the reproductive organs, sexually transmitted diseases can also cause internal organs and systemic diseases. For example, gonorrhea and syphilis may cause internal organ damage. Syphilis causes severe and extensive damage to internal organs, affecting the heart, liver, kidneys, brain, and spinal cord, etc., so the symptoms are also very complex. If you find any suspicious symptoms of a sexually transmitted disease, you should go to the hospital immediately. Some sexually transmitted diseases can be completely cured with timely and regular treatment, such as gonorrhea, syphilis, non-gonococcal urethritis, etc. However, if patients do not go to the hospital in time to receive regular antibiotic treatment, but take medication irregularly on their own, the disease will be delayed because it cannot be completely cured, turning into a chronic process and seriously damaging their health.

There are many symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases, the most obvious of which is lesions on the genitals, which are usually characterized by inflammation. However, when it develops to a certain stage, the inflammation will turn into ulcers, which is something many people do not want to see. In addition to this symptom, sexually transmitted diseases can also cause lesions in the internal organs and the entire body, so everyone must pay attention to personal hygiene in the future.
