Massage techniques that effectively reduce blood sugar levels

1. Push the Ren Meridian

Massage method: Press close to the abdomen, and rub vigorously from the lower sternum to the Zhongji point (located one palm horizontally below the navel) for about 2 minutes.

2. Horizontal abdominal push

Massage method: Use the base of your palm to push and rub along one side of the waist to the opposite side of the waist, then use the five fingertips to rub back to the far side, and massage for about 3 minutes.

3. Hold and shake your abdomen

Massage method: Cross your hands naturally, press the base of your palms on the Daheng points on both sides (located one horizontal palm away on both sides of the navel), press the little fingers of both hands on the Guanyuan point (located four fingers below the navel), and press the fingers of both hands against the Zhongwan point (located one horizontal palm away above the navel). After finding the right position, gently press down on the abdomen for about 5 minutes.

4. Press and massage the Zhongwan acupoint

Massage method: Use your thumb to press and rub the Zhongwan point (located one palm horizontally above the navel) for about 1 minute.

5. Press and massage the Qihai point

Massage method: Use your thumb to press and rub the Qihai point (located two fingers below the navel) for about 1 minute.

6. Press and massage the Tianhu point

Massage method: Use your thumbs to press and rub the Tianshu points on both sides (located two fingers away from the navel) for about 1 minute each.

7. Rub the inside of your ankle

Massage method: Use your thumb to rub the inner ankle and Achilles tendon for about 4 minutes on each side.

8. Rub the kidney point

Massage method: The location of the kidney point is near the waist on both sides. Use the base of both hands to rub the waist muscles on both sides including the kidney point from top to bottom for about 2 minutes.

Massage can increase the secretion of insulin, accelerate the utilization of sugar, reduce sugar absorption, adjust the central nervous system, normalize the metabolic area of ​​​​diabetes and improve microcirculation, thereby preventing the occurrence of complications.

Preventing diabetes

1. Hold and shake your abdomen. First, hold your hands into a ball shape, with the two little fingers pointing downward, the two thumbs pointing upward, and the two palms facing inward. Place the two palms on the Daheng point (located one horizontal palm away on both sides of the navel); place the little fingers on the Guanyuan point (located four fingers below the navel); place the thumbs on the Zhongwan point (located one horizontal palm away above the navel), press your hands down slightly, and then shake up and down quickly. This movement should be at least more than 150 times per minute. It should be done half an hour after a meal or half an hour before going to bed, and each time takes about 3 to 5 minutes. This method can not only lower blood sugar, but also blood pressure, and it also has a certain therapeutic effect on constipation.

2. Tap the left costal margin tightly, covering the ribs and upper abdomen. Gently tap for about two minutes. This technique only taps the left costal margin, leaving the right side alone.

3. Rub your back with a towel. Prepare a towel, wipe the right side with your right hand, and wipe the left side with your left hand until the back becomes warm. Just rub once or twice a day for one to two minutes on each side.

4. Massage Sanyinjiao: Sit on a chair, cross your legs, find your inner ankle. Sanyinjiao is located three inches above the inner ankle. Rub it with your thumb for about two to three minutes each time. Finish the left side and then the right side.

This series consists of 4 movements, each taking about 12 to 15 minutes. If conditions permit, it is best to do it twice a day.

Reminder: What should you pay attention to when doing self-massage? In order to do self-massage, in addition to accurate acupoints, you also need to exercise your fingers to make them stronger, so that you can achieve a certain strength when pressing the acupoints. 2. The best cooking methods are stewing, boiling, or cold mixing. It should not be too salty, and the salt intake should be less than 6 grams.
