What is Paracetamol Caffeine Tablets?

Paracetamol and Caffeine Tablets are essential household medicines in daily life. They are generally used to treat colds, fevers, headaches and other diseases. Although Paracetamol and Caffeine Tablets are very common medicines, we must be cautious when using them to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the medicine. Precautions for taking Aminophenamine tablets

1. Long-term use of this product can cause kidney damage. In severe cases, it can cause renal papillary necrosis or uremia, and may even induce renal pelvic cancer and bladder cancer;

2. Aminopyrine reacts with food under gastric acid to form carcinogenic nitroso compounds, especially nitrosamines, so it is potentially carcinogenic; 3. It should not be used for a long time to avoid neutrophil deficiency. If the medication is used for more than 1 week, blood counts should be checked regularly;

4. Long-term use may cause dependence and tolerance;

5. Ineffective for various traumatic severe pain and visceral smooth muscle colic;

6. This product should not be used in patients with lower respiratory tract infections and asthma attacks (because it can thicken sputum and aggravate the disease);

7. Cross-allergy: People who are allergic to other antihistamines or the following drugs may also be allergic to this product, such as ephedrine, epinephrine, isoproterenol, metaproterenol (hydroxyproterenol), norepinephrine and other sympathomimetic drugs. People who are allergic to iodine may also be allergic to this product;

8. Use with caution in the following situations: bladder neck obstruction, pyloric duodenal obstruction, pyloric stenosis caused by peptic ulcer, cardiovascular disease, glaucoma (or those with glaucoma tendency), hypertension, hypertensive crisis, hyperthyroidism, and obvious signs of prostatic hypertrophy;

9. People who drive motor vehicles, operate machinery or work at heights should not take this medicine.

Drug interactions

1. Isoniazid and meprobamate can enhance the efficacy of caffeine, increasing its concentration in brain tissue by 55%, while its concentration in liver and kidney decreases.

2. Oral contraceptives may slow down the clearance rate of caffeine.

3. Drinking alcohol or taking central nervous system depressants at the same time can enhance the efficacy of antihistamines.

4. This product can enhance the effects of amantadine, anticholine drugs, haloperidol, phenoxylates and sympathomimetic drugs.

5. When quinidine is used together with this product, its atropine-like effect is aggravated.

6. Taking this product simultaneously with tricyclic antidepressants can enhance the efficacy of the latter.

Long-term or excessive use can cause damage to the central nervous system, liver and kidney function, blood system, etc., manifested as:

1. Restlessness, disturbance, tinnitus, dizziness with blind spots or flashing lights, muscle tremors, increased heartbeat and premature beats.

2. Difficulty or pain in urination, dizziness, dryness in the mouth, nose and throat, headache, loss of appetite, nausea, upper abdominal discomfort or stomach pain, rash. Children are prone to irritability, anxiety, trouble sleeping, and nervousness.
