Brown bleeding after menstruation

Brown bleeding after menstruation

People will not have any secretions after the menstruation is over. Generally, there will be no other colored substances except leucorrhea. However, if there is bleeding after the menstruation is over and there will be brown secretions, this situation can be considered as leucorrhea bleeding. The causes of leucorrhea bleeding are mostly due to inflammation or physiological factors.

What is brown discharge?

Abnormal vaginal discharge may simply be an increase in amount, or it may also be accompanied by changes in color, texture, and odor. Experts point out that abnormal leucorrhea must not be taken lightly. If it is not treated in time and not eradicated, serious sequelae may occur, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, endometritis, etc. In severe cases, terminal illnesses such as vaginal cancer, uterine cancer, and cervical cancer may occur. Most middle-aged women who suffer from cancer do so because they did not pay attention to abnormal leucorrhea when they were young, which caused the disease to worsen.

Additionally, brown discharge may be a sign of vaginitis. In this case, you should first go to the hospital for a check-up to see if there are any tumors, inflammation, genital warts, etc. on the vulva. The second is a vaginal examination to check for any vaginal deformities, vaginal inflammation, or abnormal leucorrhea. Cervical examination should check for cervical inflammation, cervical erosion, etc. In order to prevent tumors, a cervical smear test, also known as a cancer prevention smear test, should also be done. If any problems are found, treatment should be sought immediately.

1. According to experts, when brown discharge appears during ovulation, ovulation bleeding cannot be ruled out. This situation is still caused by poor endocrine conditions, which leads to spotting during ovulation. You should drink more water and pay attention to rest. It is recommended that if the bleeding is small and does not affect normal pregnancy, it is better to choose Gongxuening Capsules to help improve the discomfort if necessary.

2. Ovulation bleeding refers to regular vaginal bleeding during the middle of the menstrual cycle, that is, the ovulation period, when the estrogen level drops temporarily, causing the endometrium to lose hormonal support and partial shedding of the endometrium. This is called ovulation bleeding. The amount of bleeding is small, and sometimes there is only brown discharge. It usually stops on its own in 2-3 days, and the longest day is 7 days.

3. Generally speaking, short-term and small amounts of ovulation bleeding do not require treatment. If the amount of bleeding is large and lasts for a long time, or if it does not heal, you should go to the hospital in time to check and determine the cause.

4. There are two reasons for ovulation bleeding:

The imbalance of sex hormone secretion causes large fluctuations in hormone levels during ovulation, resulting in obvious bleeding.

Chronic inflammation of the endometrium or inflammatory thickening of the ovarian surface causes significant endometrial congestion during ovulation, and bleeding is not easy to stop on its own, or the inflammatory thickened follicle surface ruptures and bleeds more than normal, and flows back into the uterine cavity with the peristalsis of the fallopian tube and is discharged from the body through the vagina.
