What are the effective prescriptions for treating athlete's foot with traditional Chinese medicine?

Athlete's foot is the most embarrassing and distressing problem, especially when summer comes, this situation will be more obvious. In the treatment of athlete's foot, we can actually adopt some Chinese medicine treatment methods. Some Chinese medicines for foot soaking are more effective in improving and treating athlete's foot. Chinese medicinal materials such as alum, phellodendron, gallnut, and cuttlefish bone can effectively improve athlete's foot.

(1) Grind any one of the following: alum, phellodendron, gallnut, or cuttlefish bone into powder and set aside. Then wash your feet and sprinkle it on the affected area. Suitable for erosive type.

(2) Take 30g each of Sophora flavescens, Dictamni, Portulaca oleracea, and Plantago, and 15g each of Atractylodes lancea and Phellodendron amurense. Decoction and wash 1-2 times a day. It is effective for blister type or infection.

(3) Take any one of Impatiens balsamina, 30 grams of sapodilla, or 15 grams of Sichuan peppercorns, and put them into half a pound of vinegar. Soak for a day and then soak your feet in it for 20 minutes every night before going to bed. Continuous treatment for 7 days is effective for the keratinizing type.

(4) 30 grams of papaya and 30 grams of licorice. Decoction the above medicine to extract the juice, wait until it is warm and then soak your feet for 5-10 minutes, twice a day, 1 dose per day, for 5-10 days.

(5) 30g Patchouli, 12g each of Polygonatum sibiricum, Rhubarb, and Alum, and 1000ml rice vinegar. Chop the above medicine into pieces, seal and soak in rice vinegar for a week; remove the residue and set aside (shake several times a day while soaking). When using, soak in the medicine solution 2-3 times a day, 20-30 minutes each time, for 5 consecutive days.

(6) 15 grams of cloves, 30 grams each of Sophora flavescens, Rhubarb, Alum, and Kochia scoparia, 20 grams each of Phellodendron chinense and Sanguisorba officinalis. Boil the above medicine to extract the juice, and then use the liquid to wash your feet when it is warm, for 10-15 minutes each time, 5-6 times a day, 1 dose per day, and each dose can be used twice.

(7) Pueraria root, alum and Senecio radix equal amounts. Dry the above medicines and grind them into powder, then seal them. Each bag weighs about 40 grams. Take 1 bag of powder each time and pour it into a basin. Add about 1000 to 2000 ml of warm water, mix well and soak your feet for 20 minutes each time. One course of treatment is 7 days, and 1-2 courses should be repeated.
