Will less ejaculation affect pregnancy?

Infrequent ejaculation generally refers to a decrease in semen caused by too frequent sexual intercourse. Some men indulge in excessive sexual activity or masturbate excessively, which often leads to less semen stored in the seminal vesicles, resulting in such symptoms. It is somewhat different from asthenospermia and oligospermia. Infrequent ejaculation generally affects pregnancy, but it is essentially different from asthenospermia and oligospermia.

Asthenospermia and oligospermia

1. Conceptual difference : Asthenospermia refers to the fact that the forward and backward moving A and B grade sperm in the semen parameters are less than 50%, or the amount of A grade moving sperm is less than 25%, which is also called hypospermia. Oligospermia refers to the phenomenon that the number of sperm in semen is lower than normal. If the sperm count is less than 20 million per milliliter, it can be classified as oligospermia, which will affect male reproductive function.

2. Difference in pathogenic mechanisms: Asthenospermia leads to male infertility mainly due to low sperm motility, because only sperm that move forward normally can ensure that they reach the ampulla of the fallopian tube and combine with the egg to form a fertilized egg. If the forward-moving sperm cannot swim to the egg within the optimal time for some reason, fertilization will not occur normally, leading to male infertility.

Treatment of oligospermia and asthenospermia:

Anti-inflammatory treatment. Generally speaking, chronic epididymitis, chronic prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis and specific infections are common and important factors that cause this disease. The most important thing in this case is to carry out anti-inflammatory and anti-infection treatment in a timely manner. As long as the primary disease is treated actively, good results can often be achieved. Supplement hormones. If a man lacks certain hormones in his body, especially when the deficiency of sex hormones is serious, sperm abnormalities will be more serious. At this time, the sperm can be improved by regulating the endocrine system. Depending on the different situations, the corresponding lacking hormones can be supplemented and restored to normal. Surgical removal. Sometimes sperm abnormalities are directly related to testicular diseases. In this case, it is natural to solve the testicular problem this morning. Generally speaking, the most common situation is the occurrence of cryptorchidism, so making the testicles descend is an important means. If necessary, the testicle can be removed if the other side functions normally.
