Inflammation of the eyes is medically known as conjunctivitis, and there are different types of conjunctivitis. Inflammation of the eye caused by bacterial infection is called bacterial conjunctivitis, and inflammation of the eye caused by fungal infection is called fungal conjunctivitis. The factors that cause eye inflammation are divided into internal and external factors. Many people will have symptoms of getting angry when they suffer from conjunctivitis. So will getting angry cause conjunctivitis?

1. Infection : Common cold, influenza or other viral infections can cause acute conjunctivitis. Symptoms include tearing, itchy eyes, red eyes, burning sensation, and even swollen eyelids, which is often called "pink eye". If you suffer from pink eye, you can use artificial tears, apply cold compresses, or use eye drops prescribed by a doctor. Viral infections can spread quickly, so you should wash your hands frequently, avoid rubbing your eyes, and do not share towels with others.

2. Allergies : Flowers, pollen, dust, mold and animals are common causes of eye allergies, which can cause discomfort such as red eyes, itchy eyes, swelling, etc., mostly affecting both eyes. The best way to treat allergic chronic conjunctivitis is to avoid the allergenic substances and environment. Cold compresses and eye drops can reduce swelling, redness and itching. If your symptoms are severe, your doctor may give you oral medications, which usually last for a few weeks.

3. Environment : Air pollution, smog, improper fitting of contact lenses, irritating gases, chemicals, etc. can all cause conjunctivitis, which may affect one or both eyes. The best treatment for conjunctivitis caused by adverse environmental factors is to improve the working and living environment. If you have dry eyes, you can use artificial tears to moisten the eyeballs and clean the conjunctiva. Other eye drops can also be used to reduce swelling and relieve itching. Acute conjunctivitis: Acute conjunctivitis is mostly caused by bacteria and viruses. It develops rapidly and has a short course. If you suffer from acute conjunctivitis, you should wash your eyes and hands frequently, and you can also use eye drops or cold compresses.
