Does scraping have any effect on red blood streaks?

In daily life, the application of traditional Chinese medicine physical therapy is very extensive, such as cupping, acupuncture and moxibustion. Different treatment methods have different effects. Compared with Western medicine surgical treatment, the risk of Chinese medicine physical therapy is very low. Some friends worry about the red blood streaks on their faces every day, fearing that they will never be able to get rid of them. So, does scraping have any effect on red blood streaks?

Gua Sha is a long-standing health-preserving and harmonizing method in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can cure many diseases from the internal organs, and of course it can also deal with many skin problems. I just don’t know if scraping is suitable for people with thin stratum corneum? After all, a thin stratum corneum means that there is a problem with sensitive skin.

What is the cause of thin stratum corneum? Thin stratum corneum is a phenomenon in which the skin stratum corneum is damaged after sensitive skin is stimulated by external factors.

This situation is generally common in people with a naturally thin stratum corneum, or caused by improper use of skin care products and cosmetics, too many facial beauty treatments, and the use of products containing large amounts of fruit acids, metal elements, or hormones.

When the cuticle is severely damaged, it becomes very thin, and any slight change in the external environment or temperature difference will cause redness, dryness, itching, burning and other reactions.

As for scraping, it is generally done by pressing and scraping the acupoints in a certain order with a specific scraping board. In this process, the most common effect is that it can cause local congestion of the skin, and a large number of capillaries to expand and rupture, thereby accelerating blood circulation and stimulating the permeability of the neuroendocrine system. In short, scraping can cause blood stasis in certain areas of the skin, and then disperse the blood stasis to accelerate metabolism and reduce inflammation.

So from this perspective, normal skin will form bleeding spots on the skin surface during scraping to enable the relevant blood vessels or cells to metabolize and regulate endocrine. What's more, skin with a thin stratum corneum is more prone to congestion. If not handled properly, it can easily make the skin more sensitive. In addition, facial scraping is also a type of facial beauty. As mentioned earlier, sensitive skin with a thin stratum corneum is not suitable for facial beauty, as it can easily damage the skin's stratum corneum.

Therefore, skin with a thin stratum corneum is not suitable for scraping, as it is very easy to scratch the skin and damage the dermis of the skin itself.
