Traumatic brain syndrome is a symptom that people will experience after suffering a head injury. It mainly manifests as disorders in the patient's brain nerve function. For example, the patient will experience dizziness, fatigue, and a significant decrease in memory, which greatly reduces the patient's quality of life. If you suffer from traumatic brain syndrome, you must adjust and treat your head. So, what should we do about Traumatic Brain Injury Syndrome?

Traumatic brain injury syndrome is a common symptom after head trauma, often manifested as a series of neuropsychiatric symptoms that persist or appear three months after the head injury. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, fatigue, memory loss, sleep disorders, or lack of energy and decreased work ability, frequent palpitations, and decreased sweating function. Among them, headache and dizziness are the most common, accounting for about 78%, mainly characterized by diffuse swelling and pain in the head and throbbing headache, which are persistent and very severe. The time of attack is irregular, mostly in the afternoon.

Steps/Methods:

1. Traumatic brain injury syndrome, hysterical reaction, the patient's mood will fluctuate, easily irritated and angry, sometimes there may be muscle spasms, decreased vision, hearing loss, closing eyes and keeping silent, or involuntary crying and laughing, and even hysterical paralysis. Severe cases will show stupor or mutism.

2. The diagnosis of traumatic brain syndrome must be made with caution. First of all, organic diseases should be carefully excluded before it can be considered. Other chronic diseases in the whole body also need to be excluded. Only after the above two situations are excluded and the above symptoms still exist after systematic treatment for half a year or more than a year, can it be diagnosed as traumatic brain syndrome.

3. Inquiry into the medical history should be conducted, including the time and cause of the injury, the situation during treatment, and after understanding the situation, whether there was coma or amnesia, how long the coma lasted, whether there was any improvement or lucidity in the middle, whether there was vomiting, and how many times. Ask clearly about whether the patient has any incontinence, epileptic seizures or convulsions, or limb movements.

Note:

For the syndrome after brain trauma, symptomatic treatment should be carried out, and patients should be encouraged to do appropriate physical exercise to enhance body vitality. Work and psychological counseling should be explained patiently and carefully. Usually, sedatives and analgesics can be given appropriately.
