The face is a window for us to face the outside world. In this appearance-oriented society, whether a face is beautiful is directly related to your social life, work, daily life and emotions. When we look at a person’s face, we not only look at his appearance, we can also tell his physical and mental health from his face. Our five internal organs can find corresponding facial features, and the color, shape and other external forms of each facial feature correspond to the condition of our five internal organs. Today, let us understand how the five features of the face reflect our body's symptoms. And what colors or shapes the symptoms are expressed in the facial features. 1. The eyes are the dialog box of the liver In traditional Chinese medicine, the liver opens up to the eyes, so a person's health can be directly seen from his eyes, and the color of the eyes is very important. First of all, from a personal perspective, when dry eyes and sore eyes occur for a long time, you need to consider whether it is liver and kidney yin deficiency. Among the five types of injuries described in the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, prolonged viewing can damage the blood, and the liver is responsible for storing blood. Therefore, when eyes are dry and sore, although it is caused by long-term viewing, the root cause is liver and kidney yin deficiency. Secondly, from the color point of view, frequent red eyes, decreased vision, or red eyes accompanied by watery skin, these may be due to liver fire. The liver governs the eyes. Once the liver fire is strong and the liver yin is depleted, the eyes cannot be nourished and of course red eyes, red bloodshot eyes and decreased vision will occur. In addition, both eyes appear yellowish, which is also the most important point. Generally, if the sclera (also known as the sclera) of both eyes appears yellowish, it is necessary to consider whether you have hepatitis, especially if the yellow color appears for a long time. At this time, you should seek medical attention immediately to determine whether it is a disease. 2. What your nose tells you about the quality of your lungs The nose is the most important part in preoperative diagnosis, so it is also called the "king of the face". The condition of internal organs can be understood from the color of the nose, sweat conditions and the color of the surrounding areas. Here we focus on the relationship between the nose and lungs. In the Suwen Waist Yin Yang Ying Xiang Da Lun it is mentioned that "the lungs govern the nose, and the nose is the orifice". There are also Chinese medicine books that record that "the nose is the organ of the lungs". Therefore, the condition of the lungs can be seen at a glance from the nose. First, the nose sweats. Exercising seasonally will cause the body temperature to rise and cause sweating, which is normal. When nasal sweating occurs for a long time, you need to consider whether it is due to insufficient lung qi. People with insufficient lung qi are very likely to become weak and sickly, have decreased immunity, and are very prone to fever and colds. Second, flaring of the nostrils. This kind of situation is mostly the main manifestation of the body's need for oxygen. Exercise can also cause this kind of situation, but in normal circumstances, for children, it is necessary to consider whether it is fever, pneumonia, or low lung function. In short, nasal flaring other than during exercise is a very bad phenomenon. 3. Inside the ear are the petals of the kidney I believe many people have heard that "the kidney opens up to the ear". The kidney essence passes through the ear, and the kidney and the ear can hear sounds. Therefore, the inside of the ear can immediately reflect the status of our kidney function. First of all, if the ears are white with red and shiny, it means that the kidney essence is sufficient. On the contrary, if the ears become dry and dull, it is a manifestation of insufficient kidney energy. Secondly, if the inside of the ears appears green or gray-black, it may be a sign of kidney deficiency. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, black represents the kidneys, so when the outer contour of the ear appears gray or black, you should pay attention. Kidney deficiency may also be caused by excessive drinking and smoking. 4. Lips can tell the quality of your stomach We often talk about the stomach and intestines together. From the perspective of Chinese medicine, the spleen is connected to the mouth. When the spleen is in harmony, the mouth can taste the five grains. First of all, red lips are mostly caused by gastrointestinal irritation. The spleen is responsible for transportation and transformation. Eating too much food that is not suitable for digestion will cause gastrointestinal irritation, resulting in red lips and red mouth. It may also be accompanied by bad breath, constipation and other symptoms. Secondly, pale and dull lips are mostly caused by weak spleen and stomach. The spleen is responsible for producing blood and regulating blood. If the spleen and stomach are weak and cold, water and food cannot be directly transported to each internal organ, the body will suffer from insufficient blood and qi, and pale lips will appear. 5. The mouth tells the heart Although the mouth is not one of our five senses, it is an indispensable step in our understanding of human diseases. The mouth can reveal many diseases of the internal organs. It is recorded in the "Yellow Emperor's Internal Classic" that "the heart is connected to the tongue", so the condition of the heart can also be seen from the mouth. In addition, the mouth can also reflect the condition of the stomach and intestines. First of all, the mouth is rosy, flexible, soft, and the language is fluent when speaking. This is a manifestation of heart health and sufficient blood. Secondly, when the mouth is pale and plump, it looks tender. In fact, this is not a good sign, but a sign of insufficient heart yin and blood, and the body's resistance is not high. In addition, a red tip of the tongue is a sign of internal heat, and if the entire mouth is bright red, there is heat in the internal organs. In addition, if you keep biting your tongue while eating, resulting in a fat mouth or a jagged tongue, this is mostly caused by spleen dampness and you need to remove the dampness from the body. Conclusion: Our body has corresponding organs on the face, and the condition of our internal organs can be directly observed from the face. The shape and color of the facial features, as well as sweating and dryness, may all be signs of disease. In the above article, we briefly understood the relationship between the five senses and the five internal organs. I hope that through the understanding here, you can also understand your own body and prevent diseases before they occur. |
