Is it normal to have unformed stool?

Loose stools are abnormal for adults. There are many reasons for loose stools. Sometimes indigestion, gastroenteritis, or gastrointestinal dysfunction may cause such symptoms. We should especially be alert to such symptoms caused by colitis and chronic enteritis, which have a relatively large impact on health. If this is the case, we must go to the hospital for examination in time, and pay attention to our diet.

Is it normal to have unformed stool?

Unformed stool refers to repeated stools that are soft and watery like mud, which disperses when exposed to water, or are accompanied by undigested food. Unformed stool is one of the typical symptoms of enteritis. Unlike diarrhea, the frequency of bowel movements may not increase, or may increase slightly;

Stool excretion is not smooth, or there is a feeling that the stool cannot be completely discharged, which means the stool is sticky and uncomfortable. The two can exist alone or alternately. If the stool is unformed for a long time and lasts for more than a week, it indicates an organic disease. In addition, unformed stool may also be related to drugs, emotional stress, food intolerance, abnormal colon motility, small intestinal dysfunction, and abnormal esophageal and gallbladder motility.
