There are many treatment methods, such as drug therapy, ultrasound therapy, surgery, etc., and some acupoints are effective for treating gallstones. Here are some acupoints for treating gallstones.

【Acupoint location】

Yanglingquan: On the outer side of the calf, in the depression below and in front of the fibula head.

Qimen: On the chest, directly below the nipple, in the 6th intercostal space, 4 inches lateral to the anterior midline.

Sun and Moon: Located in the upper abdomen of the human body, below the "Qi Men" where the ribs and belly meet, just below the nipples, in the seventh intercostal space.

Gallbladder Shu: On the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the spinous process of the tenth thoracic vertebra.

Taichong: Located on the dorsum of the foot, in the depression before the junction of the first and second metatarsal bones.

Zulinqi: Located on the outer side of the dorsum of the foot, behind the fourth toe (the fourth toe joint), in the lateral depression of the extensor tendon of the little toe.

Dazhui: Located in the depression below the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebra.

Hegu: On the dorsum of the hand, between the 1st and 2nd metacarpal bones, at the midpoint of the radial side of the second metacarpal bone.

Qiuxu: Located in the anterior and inferior part of the lateral malleolus, in the lateral depression of the extensor hallucis longus tendon.

Zusanli: On the outer side of the calf, 3 inches below Dubi, on the line connecting Dubi and Jiexi.

Diaphragmatic point: Located below the spinous process of the seventh thoracic vertebra on the back, 1.5 inches lateral to the midline.

Neiguan: On the palm side of the forearm, on the line connecting Quze and Daling, 2 inches above the transverse wrist crease, between the palmaris longus tendon and the radial flexor carpi tendon.

Fenglong: Located on the anterior and lateral side of the lower leg, eight inches above the tip of the outer ankle, one inch outside the Tiaokou point, and two horizontal fingers away from the anterior edge of the tibia.

【Protective conditioning methods】

1. The most important thing in treating gallstones is to control your diet. Develop good eating habits, eat small and frequent meals at regular times, and avoid overeating.

2. Avoid eating foods that easily cause bloating: Do not consume foods that easily cause bloating, such as sweet potatoes, potatoes, celery, onions, radishes, leeks, soybeans, bamboo shoots, garlic, soda drinks, acidic juices, coffee, cocoa, etc.

3. Eat more fiber foods: Eat more soluble fiber foods such as vegetables, fruits, oats, barley, red beans and mung beans.

4. Proper water intake. Generally speaking, you should drink at least 3,000 ml of boiled water a day.

5. Change the cooking methods: Use less frying and deep-frying when cooking food. Boil, stew or steam the food as much as possible. Vegetable oil should be the main oil of choice. As for seasonings, heavy-tasting condiments such as chili and curry should be avoided if possible.

6. Do not drink alcohol, only drink skim milk, avoid eating processed foods and high-sugar foods, etc.

7. Limit foods with high oxalic acid content: eat less lentils, chocolate, spinach, figs, walnuts and other foods.

8. Pay attention to food hygiene and avoid parasitic infections.

9. To prevent the occurrence of gallstones, you must eat less sugar.
