Prostate massage method:

1. Self-massage:

The patient squats or lies in a lateral flexion position. After cleaning the anus and lower rectum after defecation, he presses the prostate with his middle finger or index finger in the same way as before. Massage for 3 to 5 minutes each time. It is best if prostatic fluid is discharged from the urethra each time. Be sure to use gentle force when massaging. You can lubricate the finger cots with soap before massage to reduce discomfort. There should be at least 3 days between each massage treatment. If you find obvious prostate tenderness during self-massage. If the cystic sensation increases, you should go to a specialist clinic in time to avoid performing prostate massage during an acute attack of chronic prostatitis.

2. Conventional massage therapy

(1) Press and rub Dantian: Lie on your back, overlap your hands and press Dantian (Dantian is located 3 inches below the navel), rotating left and right and massaging 30 times each. Don't use too much force and don't go too fast.

(2) Acupressure: Press the Zhongji point (2 inches below the navel), the Yinlingquan point (in the depression directly below the medial malleolus of the tibia), and the Sanyinjiao point (3 inches directly above the medial malleolus, on the posterior edge of the tibia). Press each point with your fingers for a few minutes, once in the morning and once in the evening.

(3) Massage the perineum: Lie on your back with your knees bent to locate the acupoint. Rub your palms together to warm them up. Then use your index finger to gently massage the perineum 20 times, once in the morning and once in the evening.

(4) Rub the soles of your feet: After rubbing your palms together to warm them up, rub the sole of your left foot with your right palm, and then rub the sole of your right foot with your left palm, 50 times each. Do it 3 times each in the morning, noon and evening.

(5) Acupressure: used from left to right below the navel, in the lower abdomen, and above the pubic symphysis. Press gently, once every 1 to 2 seconds, and press continuously for about 20 times, but be careful not to use too much force. Used for urinary retention caused by prostatic hypertrophy.
