What to do with impotence? This treatment is amazing

The problem of impotence will affect the harmony of the sexual life of couples and is also detrimental to male fertility, so you should pay attention to understanding the correct treatment methods. Psychological treatment and drug treatment are both relatively effective, and patients should also give themselves confidence.

1. Sexual psychotherapy for impotence:

Any type of impotence should emphasize psychological treatment, which is likely to achieve twice the result with half the effort. The human brain can transmit enhanced stimulation impulses to the spinal erection center, and can also send inhibitory information to prevent the excitement of the erection center. Emotions such as anxiety and tension produced by the brain are often the cause of impotence. Masters and Johnson in the 1960s and Kaplan in the 1970s achieved remarkable results in sexual psychotherapy. Through a series of focused sexual training, the patient's nervousness can be relieved, anxiety and fear can be eliminated, and the confidence in restoring erectile ability can be enhanced. Combined with the guidance of physiological knowledge and behavioral methods, the improvement rate of patients with non-selective impotence can reach 30% to 55%.

2. Drug treatment of impotence:

Transurethral administration uses artificially synthesized prostaglandins to treat impotence, with a one-time success rate of 65%. Side effects may include penis pain, urethral pain, testicular pain, and dizziness.

3. Surgical treatment of impotence:

Penile vein surgery includes deep dorsal penile vein ligation, penile crus vein ligation, ischiocavernosus plication, urethral cavernosal stripping, internal iliac vein ligation, etc.

4. Treatment of psychogenic impotence:

The so-called psychological impotence actually refers to the difficulty in penile erection caused mainly by psychological factors. As the saying goes: "Heart disease needs heart medicine to cure." For impotence caused by psychological reasons, of course, it should be treated from the "heart" to restore confidence in sexual ability. Surgical treatment is suitable for both venous and arterial impotence.
