It is not suitable for treatment with fire moxibustion or sweating, and medications should avoid being pungent, dry, fragrant, or sharp. In addition to methods such as purging fire, clearing heat, cooling blood, and nourishing yin, treatment can also include methods such as tonifying qi and blood, guiding fire back to the origin, and activating blood circulation to stop bleeding.
