Does thrush hurt?

Many people will develop mouth ulcers if they do not pay attention to oral hygiene. Mainly some common diseases of babies. It is a disease in which fungi infect the surface of the oral cavity, a white film. This fungus can be mainly found in the oral cavity, and it is also a breakthrough point when the baby is weak. Therefore, parents must pay attention to protecting their children's oral health, mainly some candidiasis and some common diseases of children transmitted by pollution.

Thrush is mainly caused by unclean oral cavity or malnutrition. Some adults are more prone to it. The main causes of thrush in daily life are mainly due to lack of attention to hygiene and some other diseases, mainly damage or infection of the damaged oral mucosa.

1. A milky white, slightly raised patch appears on the oral mucosa, with no inflammatory reaction around it. It is shaped like a milk block and is painless. After wiping off the patch, a red wound without bleeding can be seen underneath. The patch varies in size and can appear on the tongue, cheek, palate, or inner lip mucosa.

2. It is common in the mucous membranes of the cheeks, tongue, soft palate and lips. The white patches are not easy to wipe off with cotton swabs or wet gauze;

3. When the infection is mild, it is difficult to detect unless the oral cavity is carefully examined. There is no obvious pain or the patient only feels painful when eating. In severe cases, the baby will be irritable and restless due to the pain, have a poor appetite and cry, have difficulty breastfeeding, and sometimes have a mild fever;

4. If the damaged mucosa is not treated in time, it may continue to expand and spread to the pharynx, tonsils, gums, etc. In more serious cases, the lesions may spread to the esophagus and bronchi, causing candidal esophagitis or pulmonary candidiasis, resulting in breathing and swallowing difficulties. A few may develop chronic mucocutaneous candidiasis, which may affect lifelong immune function. It may even lead to other bacterial infections and cause sepsis.

The above is whether thrush hurts. After some bacterial infection, some red spots will appear in the mouth, and it is also prone to mouth ulcers. It is quite painful in daily life because the pain will cause some irritability, poor appetite and difficulty falling asleep. The main reasons in daily life are some lack of attention to hygiene and some other diseases caused by oral diseases, and accompanied by some mild infections of other diseases.
