What are the treatment methods of traditional Chinese medicine?

Traditional Chinese Medicine occupies an important position in the medical field all over the world. It has a long history and has made great contributions to the treatment of diseases through continuous improvements by our ancestors. However, Traditional Chinese Medicine also faces challenges from Western medicine. Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment methods are diverse, effective, and will not cause side effects or harm to the body. Let’s look at TCM’s treatment methods.

Traditional Chinese medicine takes Yin and Yang and the Five Elements as its theoretical basis, and regards the human body as a unity of Qi, form, and spirit. Through the combined methods of observation, auscultation, inquiry, and palpation, it explores the cause, nature, and location of disease, analyzes the pathogenesis and the changes in the five internal organs, meridians, joints, Qi, blood, and body fluids in the human body, and judges the rise and fall of evil and righteousness, and then derives the name of the disease and summarizes the syndrome type. Based on the principle of syndrome differentiation and treatment, it formulates treatment methods such as "sweating, vomiting, purgation, harmonization, warming, clearing, supplementing, and eliminating", and uses a variety of treatment methods such as Chinese medicine, acupuncture, massage, cupping, qigong, and diet therapy to enable the human body to achieve harmony of Yin and Yang and recover. The positive side of TCM treatment is the hope to help restore the body's yin and yang balance, while the negative side is the hope that when medication must be used to slow the progression of the disease, it can also take into account the quality of life and living.

Everyone must have come into contact with traditional Chinese medicine. When you go to get Chinese medicine, the doctor will take your pulse to determine your condition. This shows the profoundness of traditional Chinese medicine. Although it is relatively convenient and cheap, it is less accurate than the instruments introduced from the West. However, traditional Chinese medicine treatment methods require a process, but have little side effects on the body and can eradicate diseases.
