How to increase glomerular filtration rate

As one of the five internal organs, the importance of kidneys to the human body is self-evident. Its main function is to remove harmful substances from the human blood. The transmission of harmful substances in the kidneys mainly relies on the operation of the glomeruli, which play a filtering role. Abnormal glomerular filtration rate will cause many complications and harm to the human body. Therefore, glomerular filtration rate is an effective indicator for detecting kidney problems in clinical medicine. So how to improve the glomerular filtration rate?

Low glomerular filtration rate

A decrease in glomerular filtration rate means that it is lower than the normal standard. The amount of filtrate generated by the two kidneys per unit time is called the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), which is about 125ml/min for a normal adult. The ratio of glomerular filtration rate to renal plasma flow is called filtration fraction. The renal plasma flow is about 660 ml per minute, so the filtration fraction is 125/660×100%≈19%. This result indicates that about 1/5 of the plasma flowing through the kidney is filtered into the cystic cavity by the glomerulus to form primary urine. Glomerular filtration rate and filtration fraction are measures of kidney function. A significant decrease in glomerular capillary blood pressure, renal vasoconstriction, changes in filtration membrane permeability and filtration area can all lead to a decrease in glomerular filtration rate.

It is possible to increase the glomerular filtration rate by using scientific and appropriate treatment methods.

First: Treat the symptoms

This "syndrome" refers to the symptoms. At this time, the focus of patient treatment is to promote the timely conversion of proteinuria to negative. You can try to use immune preparations, otherwise the decline in kidney function will be more obvious.

Also, if complications occur, the symptoms of the complications should be eliminated in a targeted manner. This can be treated with Western medicine or traditional Chinese medicine.

Second: Treatment of “Syndrome”

This treatment of "syndrome" is mainly based on the view of traditional Chinese medicine. In fact, once the creatinine reaches five or six hundred, it means that the patient has reached the level of renal failure. The root cause is that the kidney cells are in a state of ischemia and hypoxia, which means that there is insufficient nutrition and it is difficult for cells to survive.

Traditional Chinese medicine has unique experience in activating blood circulation of cells. Fundamentally, it uses TCM prescription decoctions to increase blood flow to the kidneys, which provides many cells that have not yet died with the possibility of reviving and regaining vitality, thus prolonging the time it takes for patients to reach uremia.

Therefore, no matter what stage the kidney disease is in, what patients need to do more is to maintain an optimistic attitude, cooperate well with the doctor, and leave the treatment to professional and knowledgeable nephrologists!
