Prescription: 2 qian of ginseng, 2 qian of fried Atractylodes macrocephala, 5 qian of Coix seed, 1 qian of nutmeg, 8 fen of roasted ginger, 5 fen of roasted licorice, 3 qian of Poria cocos, 3 qian of lentil (fried), 8 fen of Amomum villosum (washed), and 8 fen of Platycodon grandiflorum. Function: Dysentery that damages the spleen and stomach, and vomiting without hunger. Dosage: decoction

Ginkgo and Astragalus Black Chicken Soup

Recipe: 30 grams of ginkgo, 50 grams of astragalus, 1 black chicken (about 500 grams), and 50 ml of rice wine. Preparation method: Remove the internal organs, head and feet of the black chicken, wash it, put the ginkgo nuts into the chicken's belly, sew the opening with thread, put it into a casserole together with the astragalus, add appropriate amount of wine and water, simmer it over low heat, and season it. Recipe: 20 grams each of white lentils and yam. Recipe: 30 grams each of fried coix seed, yam and lotus seeds. Preparation method: Wash the above three ingredients, add appropriate amount of water, and simmer into porridge over low heat. Efficacy: Strengthens the spleen and replenishes Qi, eliminates dampness and stops leukorrhea. Usage: Take in the morning and evening for 7 consecutive days.
