1. Red Date Millet Porridge:

Take 10 red dates and 30 grams of millet. Wash the millet first and then fry it in a pan over low heat until it turns slightly yellow. Then add water and red dates, bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat to make porridge for consumption. Suitable for children with spleen deficiency who suffer from indigestion and anorexia.

2. Lotus seed and yam porridge:

Take 30 grams of lotus seeds, 80 grams of yam, and 50 grams of japonica rice. Peel and core the lotus seeds, add yam, rice and water to cook into porridge for consumption. Suitable for children with weak spleen and stomach who are emaciated and have poor appetite.

3. Adenophora, Ophiopogon japonicus and Lentil Porridge:

Take 10 grams of Adenophora Root, 10 grams of Ophiopogon japonicus, 15 grams of Lentils, and 50 grams of Japonica Rice. First, boil Adenophora Root and Ophiopogon japonicus in water for 20 minutes to extract the juice. Add the juice to rice and lentils and cook it into porridge for consumption. It is suitable for children with spleen yin deficiency who have hot hands and feet and dry stool.

4. Sijunzi Decoction:

10 grams of ginseng, 9 grams of Atractylodes macrocephala, 9 grams of Poria cocos, and 6 grams of roasted licorice. This prescription is suitable for people with spleen and stomach qi deficiency who have sallow complexion, low voice, fatigue and poor appetite. Decoction in water, take 150-250 ml of juice, one dose per day, divided into multiple doses depending on the age of the child, preferably taken warm before meals.
