Why do I get acne on my upper lip?

Acne is a very annoying thing that not only appears on the face but also on the lips. If not handled properly, it will leave ugly acne marks. So what is the reason for acne on the upper lip?

Acne is mostly caused by two reasons. One is that the skin is oily, the sebaceous glands are overdeveloped, and the sebum secretion is excessive. If the pores are clogged or oil cannot be discharged smoothly due to other reasons, the sebaceous glands will continue to secrete and sebum will accumulate in the pores, causing bulges and become acne. Another reason is that the imbalance of hormone secretion in the body causes acne on the skin. This cause is more common during adolescence. Imbalance in hormone secretion can also indirectly cause excessive sebum secretion, further aggravating the condition of acne. Take good local care, keep the local skin clean, and change clothes frequently. Clothes and bedding of those with skin lesions should be disinfected first to avoid infection. Pay attention to personal hygiene and avoid scratching the area.

It is recommended that you buy an acne needle, prick each pimple, squeeze out the secretions inside, make sure to squeeze them clean, and then disinfect with iodine tincture. Apply clindamycin phosphate gel twice a day. In addition, conditioning in life is also very important: eat less spicy, hot, greasy food and less sweets. Eat more vegetables and fruits. Ensure adequate sleep and don’t stay up late. Try to go to bed before 11pm.
