What to do if a tumor grows on your face? Treatment methods of traditional Chinese and Western medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine calls it "sarcoma" and believes that the onset is related to the spleen. In modern life, people do not pay attention to moderation in their daily diet and often eat greasy and irritating foods, which causes problems with the spleen and stomach and causes symptoms of liposarcoma. So what should you do if you have a tumor on your face?

1. Western medicine treatment

1: 1. Small (less than 1 cm in diameter) and multiple lipomas generally do not require treatment. 2. Larger tumors should be removed surgically. Cure: The tumor was completely removed without recurrence.

2: Method selection The only effective treatment method is surgical resection. For those with multiple tumors (some patients may have more than a hundred), they can only choose to remove the ones that have the greatest impact and are most painful first. There is no cure yet. Some use liposuction, making a small incision in the skin and inserting a suction tube to remove larger lipomas or localized fat excess without leaving noticeable scars. Of course, this is also a local treatment.

3: Surgical resection may be considered if superficial lipoma affects function, labor and aesthetics. Preoperative preparation: Clean the local skin. Anesthesia: Local anesthesia is used.

4: Surgical steps: Cut the surface skin of the lipoma along the skin texture. Use curved hemostats to separate the tumor along the tumor capsule, and clamp and ligate all blood vessels seen. Lipomas are often multi-lobed and irregular in shape, and care should be taken to completely separate the lipoma tissue with the capsule. Use tissue forceps to lift the tumor, separate the base, and remove the tumor. After hemostasis, the incision is sutured in layers. Postoperative care: The incision dressing should be properly bandaged. The stitches are removed 6 to 7 days after surgery.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

1: For Qi deficiency type, it is advisable to strengthen the spleen and replenish Qi, resolve phlegm and disperse nodules. Medicinal use: 30 grams of Astragalus, 15 grams each of ginseng and angelica, 12 grams each of Poria, Atractylodes, and Polygala, 10 grams each of Linderae scutellariae, Cyperus rotundus, Costusroot, Fritillaria, Tangerine peel, and Ligusticum chuanxiong, 6 grams of licorice, and 7 dates.

2: For Qi stagnation type, it is advisable to soothe the liver and relieve depression, resolve phlegm and disperse nodules. Medicinal use: 15 grams of angelica, 12 grams each of tangerine peel, red peony root, and white peony root, 10 grams each of Linderae strychnifolia, Ligusticum chuanxiong, Cyperus rotundus, Citrus aurantium, and costus root, 6 grams of licorice, 5 dates, and 3 slices of ginger. The following medicines are available: (1) Erchen Pills, 3 grams each time, twice a day. (2) Small gold tablets, 4 tablets each time, 3 times a day. For external application, you can use tumor-removing ointment (borax and asafoetida in equal parts, a little musk, grind them into a paste with garlic), mixed with vinegar or ginger juice. You can also grind raw arisaema and Fritillaria into fine powder, mix with egg white and rice vinegar and apply it.
