Symptoms of sexual deviancy in men

Symptoms of sexual deviancy in men
As the pressure of our lives increases, many people have psychological problems. But in our country, people don’t pay much attention to mental health. When they encounter mental illness, they will not go to see a psychologist. So in life, we often encounter some sexually perverted men. So, what behavioral habits or symptoms do sexually perverted men have? Let us give a brief introduction below.

1. Symptoms

1. Exhibitionism.

The main manifestations are repetitive and intense sexual desire and sexual imagination involving exposing one's own sexual organs in front of strangers of the opposite sex, and putting them into action, which usually lasts at least half a year and is mostly seen in men. The patient uses this exhibitionism as the primary or sole source of relief from sexual tension and satisfaction, without further sexual contact with the victim. This is clearly different from a rapist exposing his genitals as a means of sexual provocation and then committing rape. The frequency of exposure varies from person to person and can be significantly different. For some patients, it may occur only a few times a month or a year, while for others, it may occur as frequently as once a few days or weeks. Some patients may accumulate hundreds of exposure episodes. Most occur in early adolescence.

2. Voyeurism.

Recurrent, intense sexual cravings and arousing fantasies involving viewing nude or sexual intercourse with members of the opposite sex, and acting out of them, for at least six months. Seen in men. Most patients with exhibitionism and voyeurism are not heterosexual, but a few are heterosexual and married with children, but use voyeurism and other deviant methods as the main or only source of sexual satisfaction.

3. Fetish.

Refers to the repeated use of certain inanimate objects or parts of the opposite sex as stimuli for sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction can be achieved by touching or smelling objects that touch sensitive areas (or accompanied by masturbation), or by the patient or the sexual partner holding such objects during sexual intercourse. This kind of sexual desire and sexual imagination must recur for at least half a year to be diagnosed as a fetish. Such items are called fetish objects. They are all things with special sexual stimulation. Generally, they belong to male patients. Such fetish objects include women's bras, underwear, sanitary belts, etc. The hair, toes, legs, etc. of the opposite sex may also be included in this category. Most patients are heterosexual.

4. Cross-dressing fetish.

Repeated, intense sexual cravings and fantasies involving dressing as a member of the opposite sex, followed by actions that last for at least six months. The vast majority are heterosexual. But generally speaking, women who wear men's clothes are all lesbians without exception, who dress like the opposite sex to attract homosexuals. Transvestite patients use this behavior pattern to obtain sexual satisfaction. Cross-dressing usually begins between the ages of 5 and 14 and is often accompanied by masturbation, which intensifies sexual arousal. Most patients have no difficulty in their heterosexual life, and some patients only show low sexual desire. A few patients wear women's clothing just to feel comfortable.

5. Sexual asphyxiation.

Generally, a secluded place such as a bathroom, dormitory, or basement is chosen to avoid being discovered. A rope or something like that is usually used to tighten the neck or other parts of the body such as the external genitalia, or to hang the person in order to restrict breathing. A few were reported to use tools or methods such as plastic bags, masks, bandages or inhaling harmful natural gas. The fatal cases were all due to suffocation when the victims were unable to free themselves. The victims were mostly between 12 and 17 years old, and most of them were unmarried.

6. Pedophilia.

Using prepubescent children (usually 12, 13 years old or younger) as sexual objects.

7. Sexual friction fetish.

Recurrent, intense sexual cravings and fantasies involving contact of the male genitalia with the buttocks of unknown women, and acting out of them, lasting for at least six months.

8. Sexual sadism and sexual masochism.

Sexual sadism is a repetitive, intense sexual craving, imagining the infliction of psychological or physical harm on a sexual object in order to obtain sexual excitement and satisfaction, and putting it into action, which lasts for at least six months. In contrast, masochism involves incurring such injury or pain in order to gain sexual excitement or satisfaction. The two can exist separately or together.

9. Transgenderism.

The main characteristic is that the psychological identification of one's own gender is exactly the opposite of the anatomical and physiological gender characteristics. A persistent desire to change one's anatomy to achieve gender transition. The vast majority are men, and early documents called them transvestites. It usually begins in adolescence. In childhood, the child often hangs out with girls and wears clothes of the opposite sex, but does not experience sexual excitement (unlike cross-dressing). He or she has a feminine tone of voice, posture, and behavior. They hate their own sexual organs and demand castration to change their gender. This desire usually persists, and some people attempt suicide.
