It is mainly used to treat symptoms of heat entering the blood, heat disturbing the heart and soul, fear of cold and delirium, crimson and prickly tongue, and thin and rapid pulse; heat damaging blood vessels, with purple and black spots, vomiting blood, epistaxis, bloody stool, blood in urine, etc., crimson tongue and rapid pulse; blood accumulation and heat stasis, forgetfulness, no desire to swallow water when gargling, and dark and easy-to-pass stool, etc. It is used in clinical medicine to treat patients with severe hepatitis, hepatic encephalopathy, disseminated intravascular coagulation, uremia, allergic purpura, acute leukemia and other diseases with excessive heat in the blood.

How to use

As a medicine, it is decocted in water and taken orally. The antelope horn slices are decocted first, followed by the remaining ingredients. Use nine liters of water, boil it and take three liters, divided into three doses.

White peony root and red peony root can clear away heat, cool blood, promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis and disperse blood stasis, so they are adjuvant drugs.
