How to treat insufficient blood supply to the brain?

Patients with insufficient blood supply to the brain must do a good job of conditioning in their lives. If they have high blood pressure, they should take antihypertensive drugs. At the same time, they should pay more attention to their diet, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and also pay attention to abstaining from alcohol and controlling salt intake.

1. The first thing to do in daily life is to adjust the risk factors . For hypertension, you should take antihypertensive drugs to maintain blood pressure within the normal range, lose weight, be more active, and exercise actively. Patients with cerebral blood supply must not ignore these conditioning measures in life.

2. Adjust the diet : The patient's diet should mainly consist of beans, bean products, vegetable oils, coarse grains, vegetables, and fruits. Eat lean meat and milk in moderation. Eat more fresh vegetables, such as onions, tomatoes, fruits, fish, black fungus, a small amount of vinegar, dry red wine, etc., which can play an antioxidant role and delay the occurrence of cerebral arteriosclerosis.

3. Avoid excessive drinking (abstinence), because drinking can cause high blood pressure, increase triglyceride levels, and lead to rebound thrombocythemia.

4. Control salt intake (less than 6 grams per day, and around 3 grams if you already have hypertension). That is, the amount of salt used is about one-third of the amount of salt in a normal diet. Avoid eating sugar and cakes, fruits, canned foods, etc. that contain high amounts of sugar.

5. Maintain a good attitude and use your brain in a healthy way . Usually I watch TV and read newspapers; do some manual work or housework.

6. In addition to the above introduction, appropriate outdoor activities can also help patients with cerebral ischemia recover from the condition. Such as brisk walking, jogging, strolling, etc., 30-40 minutes each time, at least 5 times a week, or practicing Tai Chi, fishing, mountain climbing, etc. Doing moderate exercise every day is beneficial for both patients with cerebral ischemia and normal healthy people.
