Why do children's testicles have different sizes?
Parents should not ignore the physical health of young children, because it has an extremely important impact on their later growth. For example, for male babies, the development of the genitals is a crucial part. However, in modern life, many babies have physiological abnormalities. For example, why do young children have testicles of different sizes?

Some newborns' testicles have already entered the scrotum from the abdomen while others have not, so you will feel that the testicles on both sides are unequal in size. This is a normal phenomenon for newborns. In addition, even for adult men, unequal testicle sizes do not affect health. The child's testicles will not fully enter the scrotum until he is about one year old. It is better to make a judgment at that time. At the same time, even if the scrotum is not of equal size, it is not pathological and there is no need to be nervous. The following possibilities are possible: Inguinal hernia. Inguinal hernia is commonly known as hernia. It is manifested as the baby's peritoneum or intestines falling to the groin at the root of the thigh. When the abdominal pressure increases, it enters the scrotum and causes scrotal swelling, accompanied by pain. Inguinal hernia can cause symptoms in both male and female babies: the groin will swell up to the size of a ping-pong ball, which sometimes returns to its original shape, and boys may have a swollen scrotum. You can press it back gently with your hands, but it cannot return to its original position without pressing it with your hands. If you apply force to your abdomen, it may come out.

When a baby is in the womb, its testicles are produced. As the baby grows, their position will gradually descend from the abdomen to the scrotum. Most babies will have their testicles descend within 1-2 years old. If they have not descended after 2 years old, they will become cryptorchids. Symptoms: If you touch the scrotum, you will find that the baby has no testicles. Generally, unilateral cryptorchidism is more common, while bilateral cryptorchidism is rare. Generally speaking, the baby's testicles do not stay completely in the abdomen, but are located near the groin and scrotum. They will completely descend into the scrotum when the baby is 1-2 years old.

Hydrocele The testicle develops from the abdominal cavity and after descending to the scrotum, two layers of peritoneum will form two layers of hydrocele of the testicle respectively. The small tube connecting the tunica vaginalis and the peritoneum is called the processus vaginalis. Shortly after the baby is born, the processus vaginalis will quickly close, so that the tunica vaginalis sac formed by the tunica vaginalis on both sides of the testicle will no longer be connected to the abdominal cavity. Symptoms: Hydrocele is often manifested as unilateral scrotal swelling, scrotal discomfort, elasticity at the swollen area, generally no pain but there will be a feeling of heaviness. If a strong light is shone on the swollen area, the hydrocele will become translucent and appear bright red, and the swelling will not disappear due to massage or upward push.
