How to effectively relieve itching for skin allergies

Skin allergies are relatively common and can also cause symptoms of itchy skin, so you should pay attention to hair removal treatment and correct itching relief. It is recommended to drink more water to relieve congestion. At the same time, you should pay attention to avoid contact with foods that may cause allergies, such as high-fat and high-sugar foods.

1. Drink more water. Water can dilute mucus, help it out of the body, and relieve congestion. People who are often allergic should drink more water and try to drink more than a cup of water a day.

2. Control allergens. Food allergen testing and diagnosis by a dermatologist will confirm that the person has food allergies and will temporarily refrain from eating the allergenic food.

3. Avoid spicy foods, limit high-fat and high-sugar diets, avoid alcohol and seafood, and eat more fresh vegetables.

4. Using cold water for cold compress can eliminate allergic symptoms of skin redness, swelling and itching relatively quickly. Some people like the feeling of using hot water, which makes them feel more comfortable and stops itching instantly. But this is only a temporary solution and not a permanent one. And the skin allergy symptoms will become more and more severe.

5. Bath water should not be too hot . Improper bathing method is also one of the causes of skin itching. As the temperature drops, taking a nice hot bath is the most comfortable thing. However, if the temperature of the bath water is too high, it will cause a large amount of oil on the surface of the skin to be lost, destroying its protective function. Therefore, the temperature of the bath water should be about the same as body temperature, and 37-40℃ is most suitable. At the same time, for southerners who take a bath every day, the use of shower gel also needs attention.

Some people think that skin itching is caused by not washing thoroughly, so they scrub their skin vigorously with shower gel. This will make the skin drier and aggravate the itching. Therefore, Yan Aizhen recommends that you can use shower gel every one or two days in winter, and only use warm water to take a bath the rest of the time, because warm water has sufficient cleansing ability. After drying your body, apply moisturizer as soon as possible to moisturize your skin. In addition, it is especially recommended to drink a glass of warm water before and after bathing, so as to replenish the water lost by the body during bathing.
