What causes left shoulder pain?

In addition to shoulder pain, patients with coronary heart disease generally also experience squeezing discomfort behind the sternum or in front of the heart. 3. Apex cancer When cancer occurs at the apex of the lung, the continuously developing cancerous tissue can compress or invade these nerve plexuses. For example, if it invades the brachial plexus, shoulder pain may occur. This pain is usually a burning pain that radiates mainly to the armpit and the inner side of the upper limb, especially at night. If the shoulder is severely stressed, it will also affect the movement of the shoulder and upper limbs.
