Why do I get itchy bumps on my palms?

If you exclude mosquito bites, the pimples on the palms of your hands should generally be considered as skin diseases. Most of the pimples on the palms are accompanied by itching symptoms, so treatment must be started early and the cause must be clear in order to prescribe the right medicine. So, what is the cause of itchy bumps on the palms of your hands?

1. Eczema should be considered in this case. Eczema is a common allergic skin disease which can be divided into acute and chronic types. You can apply calamine lotion or oscillating lotion. Dexamethasone cream or Fuqing ointment can also be applied externally for a short period of time. Oral medications include diphenhydramine, phenagar, cyproheptadine, etc. Traditional Chinese medicine is also effective in treating eczema, and you can choose to use decoction of lithospermum officinale for external washing.

2. It may also be caused by skin allergies. It is recommended to avoid spicy and irritating foods, eat more vegetables, fruits and whole grains, and take astemizole and vitamin C for treatment. If necessary, go to the hospital's dermatology department for examination. For treatment, you can use some anti-allergic drugs and pay attention to care.

3. External stimulation is only one aspect of the pimples on the palms, the fundamental reason lies in the spleen and stomach. Most adults who get this disease have stomach problems. Of course, some people do not have symptoms of stomach problems, but they can be checked in the hospital. Therefore, you should avoid irritating foods such as alcohol and tea, eat regularly, and don't eat too fast.

4. If it is caused by skin allergy, you can take anti-allergic drugs such as cyproheptadine or Claritin orally, and use calamine lotion or cyproheptadine ointment externally. Don't eat spicy food, don't drink alcohol, and maintain hygiene. If the symptoms recur, it is best to go to the hospital for an allergen test to see what substances you are allergic to. Avoid contact with them in normal times and you can also use desensitization therapy.
