Tips for treating conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis is a very common disease in daily life. It can cause great harm to the patient's eyes, so timely medical treatment is required. Generally, conjunctivitis is caused by infection with bacteria and pathogens. It is particularly important to find a scientific and effective treatment method. Green tea leaves and chrysanthemum have significant effects in treating conjunctivitis. Friends in need can give it a try. I believe it will definitely help with the treatment.

1. Conjunctivitis

Infections by bacteria and pathogens will cause conjunctivitis. Most allergic conjunctivitis occurs in summer. The continuous high temperature in summer causes a large number of bacteria to be produced. The bacteria enter the eyes and make the secretions become viscous, leading to an increase in the incidence of the disease and an increased risk of acute conjunctivitis.

During the onset of the disease, the patient's eye blood vessels will swell and the eyes will turn red. If this happens but the patient does not go to the hospital for treatment in time, it will lead to the occurrence of chronic conjunctivitis.

Anyone can get conjunctivitis, regardless of age. Conjunctivitis is contagious. If you notice any discomfort, redness, swelling, pain, or tearing in your eyes, you should consider whether you have conjunctivitis. You must not be careless and think it doesn't matter. You must go to the hospital for treatment in time.

2. How to treat conjunctivitis?

1. Green tea leaves. However, there are some folk remedies that can treat conjunctivitis, and the main ingredient comes from green tea leaves. You can also use green tea to make a cup of strong tea. If you don't know how to judge the concentration, you can directly soak it for an hour, then take out the tea leaves, filter out the tea leaves with gauze, and then prepare the tobacco from two cigarettes, and soak them in the filtered green tea. Remember, the soaking time must be at least one hour. Finally, take out the tobacco, wrap it with gauze, and put it on your eyes when you sleep. Repeat this for a few days to relieve and treat conjunctivitis.

2. Chrysanthemum. You can make chrysanthemum tea and chrysanthemum porridge. The taste of chrysanthemum is sweet and bitter, which can clear heat, improve eyesight, and relieve swelling and pain in the eyes of patients with conjunctivitis. You can also cook white chrysanthemum, wolfberry and cassia seed into porridge in a ratio of 1:1:1. You can add an appropriate amount of rock sugar before cooking. Cooking these three Chinese herbs together into porridge can also achieve the effect of improving eyesight and reducing swelling after consumption. If conjunctivitis occurs, the patient must be isolated as conjunctivitis is highly contagious.

When conjunctivitis has been diagnosed and medication has been started, it must not be taken intermittently, otherwise it is easy to relapse. All courses of treatment must be completed as required by the doctor. Conjunctivitis must not be taken lightly, otherwise a long incubation period will easily induce scleritis and even cause harm to the patient's eyesight, which will cause irreparable consequences. You should pay attention to rest, strengthen physical exercise, reduce the use of computers and mobile phones, take care of your eyes, and supplement vitamin B, which can benefit the human mucosal tissue.

Patients with allergic conjunctivitis should also avoid spicy food, eat less irritating foods such as chili peppers, peppercorns, ginger, etc., and should not rub their eyes with their hands. They should pay attention to hygiene and restrain themselves, because there are many bacteria on their hands, which can easily cause the condition to worsen. You can buy Xiaoxiling, soak it in water in a ratio of 3:7, soak a towel in the water for hot compress treatment, which can relieve itching.
