What medicine is good for damp-heat in the stomach and intestines?

4. Five-flower tea: 30 grams of dried kapok flowers, 30 grams of honeysuckle, 20 grams of locust flowers, 20 grams of frangipani, and 20 grams of kudzu flowers. Wash all the above ingredients, put them into a pot, add 400 ml of water and boil. This five-flower tea can clear dampness and heat from the large intestine.

5. Corn

According to traditional Chinese medicine, corn is mild in nature and sweet in taste. It enters the liver, kidney, and bladder meridians and has the functions of diuresis and swelling reduction, calming the liver and promoting bile secretion, strengthening the spleen and eliminating dampness, regulating the middle and stimulating appetite, benefiting the lungs and calming the mind, and clearing away dampness and heat. Corn contains flavonoids, which have a certain effect on the macula of the retina, so eating more corn can help improve eyesight.

6. Mung bean sprouts

"Compendium of Materia Medica" says that it "relieves alcohol toxins, heat toxins, and benefits the three burners", which means that mung bean sprouts can be used to eliminate all heat toxins in the body, and the damp-heat toxins are most severe in summer and autumn. There are also reports that Americans highly recommend mung bean sprouts and believe that it is one of the most suitable vegetables for obese people to eat.
