What is a water monkey?

Water monkeys are mainly molluscum contagiosum. It is mainly a new viral skin disease caused by some poxviruses. Its characteristics are mainly spherical shape and symptoms, but it is more common in young people and children. However, its incubation period in life is two to three weeks, and it is mainly caused by some external factors and buttocks, lower abdomen and inner thighs, and some dry mouth and tongue and some lesions appear. However, in life, it is mainly treated by you.

In terms of diet and health care, colleagues must pay attention to eating more nutritious and vitamin-rich foods and less spicy and irritating foods. In order to prevent contact with infected patients, they should avoid going to swimming pools, public baths and some shared places.

The disease is caused by molluscum contagiosum virus (CMV). It is a poxvirus that is brick-shaped with a diameter of 350 nm and can sometimes be seen under a light microscope. According to electron microscopy research, the formation of the virus itself is closely related to the cytoplasm. The cytoplasmic matrix first condenses and eosinophilic granules appear. These granules gradually aggregate to form "large particles" with clear boundaries from the surrounding area - granular composite viruses (early-stage viruses); then they develop into fine-granular membrane viruses (mid-stage viruses); finally they become brick-shaped, oval or round, often with a dumbbell-shaped structure in the center of the mature virus. The entire cytoplasmic matrix finally becomes a viral inclusion body (also called molluscum body). This body was initially an oval eosinophilic structure, which was positive for Brachet's reaction, indicating a large amount of RNA. Soon, Feulgen staining showed a positive reaction for DNA. As the volume rapidly expanded, the Feulgen reaction gradually strengthened, while the Brachet reaction gradually weakened, indicating that the amount of RNA was larger in the early stage and the amount of DNA was larger in the late stage. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that it is caused by the imbalance of Qi and blood, loose pores, and external evil that aggregates in the skin. Molluscum contagiosum is a benign viral skin disease. The rash is characterized by waxy, pearly papules with a diameter of 2 to 4 mm and a sunken apex from which cheese-like molluscum bodies can be squeezed out.

The above is an introduction to water monkeys. In daily life, we must do a good job in controlling and treating some complications. We must do better after treatment. We must pay attention to eating more nutritious and vitamin-rich foods, and eat less taboo spicy and irritating foods. We must develop good hygiene habits in daily life.
