If our bedding is not cleaned and sterilized regularly, there are actually a lot of bed bugs on it, but we usually can't see them with our naked eyes. Bed bugs will also attack our skin, causing itching and rashes. These symptoms are more common after bed bug bites, so friends must understand the importance of cleaning and disinfecting bedding. 1. Itching: Itching is the main symptom, but the degree of itching varies from person to person. The itching occurs when pubic lice use their claws to pierce or pierce the skin, and when they bite and inject saliva. Pubic lice inject saliva when sucking blood because saliva can prevent blood from clotting, which facilitates blood sucking. Pubic lice suck blood several times a day, so the itching is paroxysmal. 2. Insects or eggs: Small pubic lice can be found at the roots of hair follicles. They are light black, grayish white or red (full of blood). Some patients can directly find small granular eggs. 3. Rash: There are often micro-holes (invisible to the naked eye) at the places where pubic lice feed, some of which are red, with small red spots and blood scabs on them; after about 5 days, local allergic reactions occur at the micro-holes, which often arch up and appear as papules. Scratching often causes infection, with pustules, exudate, and scabs. 4. Blue-gray spots: Blue-gray spots of 0.2 to 2 cm in size can be seen near the affected area. They are painless and itchy, do not fade when pressed, and can last for several months. These blue-gray spots can also be seen on the chest, abdomen, inner thigh, etc. The cause of these blue-gray spots is still unclear, but it may be related to the saliva of pubic lice entering the blood when they suck. Elimination 1. Manual capture: knock on bed frames, bed boards, kang mats, straw mats, etc. to shake the bed bugs off and kill them, or use needles or wire to pick out the bed bugs in the gaps and kill them. 2. Pour boiling water: Bed bugs cannot tolerate high temperatures, so boiling water can be used to kill all the eggs and adults. Bed frames, bed boards and other utensils where bed bugs breed can be moved outdoors, and the mouth of a kettle filled with boiling water can be aimed at the gaps. Slowly move the kettle to pour boiling water, making sure the gaps reach a high temperature to kill the bed bugs and their eggs. Clothes and mosquito nets that breed bed bugs can be soaked in boiling water. 3. Sun exposure: Clothes that cannot be soaked in boiling water can be exposed to strong sunlight for 1 to 4 hours and turned over. This will allow the bed bugs to be killed by the high temperature or by crawling out. 4. Prevent the spread: In rooms where bed bugs are active, the movement (relocation or sale) of luggage, furniture and other items must be strictly inspected and handled to prevent bed bugs from being brought in or out and causing spread. |
