What to do if lumbar disc bulge compresses nerves and causes leg pain

When lumbar disc herniation is more serious, it often compresses the nerve tissue of the intervertebral disc. At this time, because the nerve tissue is compressed, the blood circulation in the lower limbs will deteriorate, causing coldness and numbness of the lower limbs, etc. It will also cause radiating pain in the lower limbs. Through investigation, it was found that some patients are obese, so moderate exercise in daily life is beneficial, and certain physical therapy is also required.

1. First, lose weight

Lose 10kg after back pain. 60% of the body's weight is on the waist, so generally fat people have back pain. If you have a bad waist, please reduce the burden on your waist. Moreover, people who are too obese have accumulated a lot of fat. When they need surgery, the doctor can't see the internal organs or tissues when he cuts. They have to go through more surgeries than thin people. When suturing the wound, the doctor's hands are full of oil, which delays the suturing. In the end, the wound is uneven. It can be said that losing weight is a lot of sins, so control your mouth, move your legs, and defeat yourself for health.

2. Take the medicines prescribed by the doctor

Generally, such medicines are anti-inflammatory and blood-activating. Lumbar disc herniation will compress the nerve tube. The compressed nerves will cause leg pain and inflammation. Take the medicines prescribed by the doctor to reduce nerve damage. But please note that if you do not cooperate with exercise to heal the injury, taking medicines will only reduce inflammation and accelerate blood circulation. Long-term use will burden the body's internal organs, so medication is only temporary. Rehabilitation and exercise are the right way. Taking medicines is to relieve and buy time. I went to a traditional Chinese medicine hospital for treatment and took Chinese patent medicines.

About plasters: I have used some plasters, which can also relieve pain and promote blood circulation, but there is a problem during use. Plasters are a very effective way to relieve pain, and they should contain pain-relieving ingredients. When the pain in my waist is significantly relieved, I often cross my legs unconsciously or do not pay attention to my posture, which causes the medicinal properties of the plaster to wear off and aggravate the pain. So now I no longer use plasters.

3. Don’t sit on a chair that is too soft

Don't sit on a chair with wheels. This is something I figured out on my own. The nature of my job is computer work, and I always have to work at a desk. A chair with wheels has a tendency to slide backwards when my body leans forward, and my waist will unconsciously tense up to prevent the chair from moving. Later, I changed to a flat, immovable chair, and my waist feels much better
