The difference between closed comedones and fat particles

Sebaceous cysts and closed comedones are both relatively common skin diseases, and there is a big difference between them. Sebaceous cysts, also known as chestnut papules, are a relatively small skin disease similar to white sesame seeds, while closed comedones are relatively large and more harmful, affecting the beauty of the skin more seriously, and are more difficult to treat. Sebaceous cysts are relatively simple to treat, and the key is to understand the cause of the disease from a deep level. If it is due to endocrine disorders, it should be taken seriously.

The difference between closed comedones and fat granules 1. The most appropriate name for fat granules should be miliary papules. Generally, people are accustomed to calling the small particles that grow around the eyes fat granules. Acne is also called pimples, blackheads, acne, and acne. Acne is more common in oily areas such as the cheeks, forehead, chin and nasochete grooves, followed by the chest, back and shoulders.

2. Distinguish fat particles from the pathogenesis : When the skin is not clean enough, such as long-term use of heavy eye shadow and other makeup products, or excessive use of scrubs and exfoliating products, etc., it will cause extremely tiny wounds that are invisible to the naked eye on the skin around the eyes, and then produce small white cysts - milia papules - in the process of skin self-repair. People who usually have this problem have dry skin and use highly moisturizing products, so they often mistakenly think that the eye cream is to blame. In fact, men and children who have little awareness of skin care are also common "victims" of milia in clinical practice. Acne: It is a multifactorial disease, which is mainly related to increased sebum production, hyperkeratosis of the epithelium at the opening of hair follicles and proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes in hair follicles. It also has certain genetic factors. The development and production of sebaceous glands are controlled by androgens, and the increase of androgens is affected by age, endocrine, genetic and other factors. In addition, diet can also affect acne. For example, fat, sugar, spicy food, cocoa, cheese, peanuts, etc. can increase sebum production and aggravate inflammation.

3. The difference in morphology: sebaceous granules are similar in appearance to stones, yellow-white in color, about the size of a needle tip or a millet grain, and small white lumps can be seen when pricked with a needle; acne lesions begin as conical papules consistent with the opening of the hair follicles, with yellow-white tops. These are composed of sebum in the hair follicles and keratinized cells shed from the hair follicle walls, with melanin deposited on the tops to form blackheads. If squeezed with fingers, a sebum plug with a black head and a white and translucent body can be squeezed out, indicating inflammation. 4. The difference in symptoms: Fat cysts are generally the size of rice grains, with protrusions on the face and no pain; acne is a chronic inflammation. When acne occurs, the surrounding skin will show redness and inflammation, and there will be obvious pain after pressing.
