I feel dizzy and black after sitting for a while.

In life, we often feel dizzy or even black out when we stand up after squatting or sitting for a long time. In fact, this is caused by orthostatic hypotension. Because people stay in one posture for a long time, it affects blood circulation, causing a temporary lack of blood supply to the brain, while the functioning of the brain requires normal blood supply. Of course, in addition to this reason, it may also be caused by anemia or hypoglycemia, so how should it be treated?

If there is no organic disease, the insufficient blood supply to the brain caused by anemia and physical weakness can be regulated and improved through methods such as strengthening nutrition, regular work and rest, and moderate exercise.

1. Whether you are sitting or squatting for a long time, be careful not to stand up too quickly, but stand up slowly.

2. Maintain a normal work and rest schedule, and continuous sleep time should be maintained at 7-8 hours a day. Staying up late or all night is prohibited.

3. Improve nutrition and eat more foods that replenish blood and qi, such as donkey-hide gelatin, red dates, peanuts, wolfberry, astragalus, angelica, Guipi pills, etc.

4. Take walks, jogs, and do Tai Chi every day to improve and strengthen your physical fitness and enhance cardiovascular function.

5. During the conditioning process, you can check whether your blood pressure and other conditions are normal, whether symptoms such as dizziness and blurred vision have improved, and take medication if necessary.

Dizziness caused by other medical factors

There is a saying that this condition is caused by anemia. In this regard, the doctor said: It is not necessarily caused by anemia, but this situation is more likely to occur in patients with anemia.

Dizziness is just a symptom, but there are many causes of dizziness, such as colds, cardiovascular diseases, brain tumors, cervical spondylosis, neurasthenia, cerebral hemorrhage, improperly controlled diabetes, arrhythmias, etc. If you often experience dizziness when squatting and conditioning does not improve the condition, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment.
